another morse code message was put up

morse code: -.-. .... --- -.-. --- .-.. .- - . / .- ... -.-. .-.. . .--. .. ..- ...

translates into
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Chocolate Asclepius"

More info on Asclepius can be found at: http://www.pantheon.org/articles/a/asclepius.html

if you watched tonight's episode, you would think that this may be a clue to the future of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's character. I believe I saw him carrying a rod or staff of some sort, but I'd have to go back and watch it again.

Lost - the dharma initiative

I know this may not be an arg or not connected at all but i am a huge fan of the Lost series and this seems to connect. Anyone who has watched lost will know of the dharma initiative, it is the organisation which set up the testing facilites on the island, and now a site has appeared at www.thedharmainitiative.org with a video of what was shown to Jack and Johnin the hatch, season 2, and there is a log in. I am guessing he log in password will be the sequence of numbers that pops up al over the show , 4,8,15,16,23 and 42. Although it may take someone with a good knowledge of the series to work out the username. Thanks for having a look at this anyway.

Ok small thought. If anyone has actually looked at the site you will notice a different arrangement of patterns around the outside of the logo. Perhaps morse code or binary or something, they consist of a dash then a split dash.

due to the promise I made to spacebass that i would remain polite on the forums - "this is trout" please remember to search before posting any new threads. It's a shame that every time someone posts this, the same 2 or 3 older threads are being linked to.

I again ask that this thread not be locked, but just deleted as i guess {without trying to be rude} multi-threads on this subject being locked aren't helping anything.

Has anyone been to http://thedharmainitiative.org/ ? it was posted on a lost fan site and contains a login
Read the spoiler for more info
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It contains the video if you click on the logo that jack and locke saw in the hatch. I have a theory that the password is the string of numbers that has been repeated throughout the show

The image has changed to a gas mask but it looks like one of those images you can view through the red and blue glasses you get at the cinema. Silly song as well, sounds backwards, anyway cant make much sense of it.

Looks like the registrant is a private person, but if you want to figure it out take a look at md5.js .
That has to produce a hex-string which matches either of two of these:
4ce8eb77952dcf34505de7e04fd68fc7
732d9dda7f79c827c4453bda8f2d441a

Basically, it's md5-Hash. Should be not too hard to figure out.
Uh...should be too hard, I meant to say.

The only threads that usually get deleted are spam. I suggest that perhaps we move the Lost season 2 thread back to news & rumors? I believe this is the 2nd or maybe 3rd time someone has posted about it here.

there is a lot about that site that LOOKS like it is not ingame...but from the very little i know about ARGs, i realize that sometimes those things (along with poor site design) are rarely a give away...i think we'll just have to see what happens there before we decide on that one...

as for something else interesting, i stumbled across this:

"To qualify for Dharma Transmission you simply have to demonstrate that you are ready to take full and complete responsibility for the whole Universe all the time -- every single second of every single day."

if you've been following the show this season, this should hold some interest...

I checked through the thread and didn't see anyone try https://www.dharmainitiative.org

I might start poking around at this, since the last time I was here was during the Haunted Apiary. Very Happy

EDIT: Er, nevermind. Seems like that functionality went away.

Audio: ?

Found this embedded in the flash, seems to only happen on frame 118/156:
http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=68614627&s=143441&i=68614164
That URL is to BUY EPISODES OF LOST! Today Apple announced here they'll be selling ABC/Disney shows on iTunes. So was this just a promo for that??

Not sure if anyone has seen this bit or not. If you go to http://www.oceanicflight815.com (which we can assume to be on the up and up) and click on the blue light beam, it'll take you to http://www.thehansofoundation.org.

Also, I just caught this when view the Various & Sundary board.

I merged a number of similarly-themed threads into this one. So, if some of it seems disjointed to this point, don't worry -- from here on in, regardless of what this turns into, this will be the definitive trailhead thread for the Lost "game".
