 		[New][Oct.10] Directory Anne's imagebackups
Sorry if this has been mentioned i'v been sick the past few days and haven't been able to keep up. Sad
Checking Anne's personal directory on the vaporlofts site I found this http://www.vaporlofts.com/schreber/imagebackups/
lots of stuff to look at there some of it old. I myself haven't been through all of it yet. But theres at least one picture with information hidden in it (samurai.jpg). Theres is also a .db file i haven't opened.

 		I did a quick scan through the source file for the samurai image and this is what I found...Someone else might want to take a closer look to see if there is more.

Samurai (? or sometimes ?) is a common term for a warrior in pre-industrial Japan

Most samurai were bound by a strict code of honor (??? bushido-) and were expected to set an example for those below them. A disgraced samurai could regain honor and respect by committing suicide by a gruesome and painful means: stabbing himself in the stomach with his own sword, an act called seppuku (??). When time was available, samurai would have a friend or student, called a kaishaku (??, executioner), decapitate them after the initial cut across the abdomen. Even in death, samurai were beholden to honor.

 		i also searched through and found that... also searched through some of the other pictures but i'm not finding anything. I have a habit of missing things though. Oh, and who suppossedly put this information in the picture? Is it someone we have already found or will find out later? this just keeps sucking me in even more. Very Happy

My money is on Shinpu (as if we knew somebody else).

vaporlofts3.jpg is rather blurred
vaporlofts4.jpg is a collection of 20 smaller edited, flipped and rotated pictures. The middle one in the top row is especially interesting, because the green writing says 'ex. 1' which I assume stands for 'excerpt 1' which is about Sarah Belton. Does it mean Sarah Belton haunts the house? Or was she killed there?

 		Do the names of all those Paris .jpgs look funny to anyone else? Is there a simple explanation that I'm not missing? Looks like the last three characters of each filename might be some kind of code... I can't see anything, but that's nothing new

 		When you go to http://vaporlofts.com/schreber/ you can see that the imagebackups directory was updated on Oct 11...but I can't see any file in that directory which was updated past Oct 10.
Isn't that strange? Do you think there might be another file in this directory which doesn't show up?

 		Actually I would think that means something was removed. I'm pretty sure that would trigger an update.

Yeah, I thought about that, but someone should have seen the site on Oct 10 and be able to tell if anything was removed or changed, maybe?

I think, the date of the directory changed, because they deleted the file thumbs.db. Delusional mentioned it in his first post of this thread.

Ah, yes. I remember there was a thumb.db and now it's gone. Should be that.
