may be

May be "first to the spot" may be rewritten as

First to (the) post.

And the first person to post a message about this conspiracy was ...

Statik

May be we should be looking for something that Statik said (i.e., person on the mountain with red flag says smthn)?

Could you kindly keep your spamming out of the playing field, "Guest"?

This is a lovely forum. I appreciate the moderation (thank you moderators et al.).

I'm investigating over at Collective Detective (no link this time, okay? Not SPAM.), for anyone who wants to work in an uncensored environment.

I heartily agree. Anyone who wishes to play the "Hunt down and find the PMs" game, please head on over to Collective Detective.

Anyone who wishes to play the "Metacortechs" game is more than welcome here at Unfiction!

perhaps i'm just trying too hard...
but could the dots on the also be intended to be exactly where they're supposed to be? they looked very ordered to me...

braille?

attached is my attempt at dotting the dots...

http://disserv3.stu.umn.edu/AltForm/brail-guide.html

that's a braille guide chart,

i got "G Y G F B A", or "G Y G F H" from it...
actually there are many more variations if you take into account that you may not be able to see some dots in the white space...

just a bit of a stretch Smile

jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesow. what part of "we're not going to play "PMhunt2003"" is so bloody hard to understand? Take it someplace else if that's what you're going to do. Thank you.

PLEASE STOP. It has been said like 500 times that you shouldn't post this info here. Don't spoil it. If people want this info, they'll look elsewhere.

Very interesting s2mega. See here for an extended braille overview which explains the 4-dot blocks even better maybe (being '(' and ')') but the last symbol is still questionable...

Oddly, they look like.... little boxes. Could this be Beth, making an appearance?

Could there be ROT encoding involved? I tried a few combinations, nothing consistent, but maybe somebody else could give it a go!?

Nice spotting. Wink

I like the idea of the braille. Cool concept. It doesn't seem to be any coherent info, though, even if you combine the letters with the "also"

Hmmm, then again, I might just be tired.

yes, the last character of the full stop's single dot drops off the line, but could that mean that the base of the line is in the whitespace? Confused that'd be extremely difficult, wouldn't it?

yes, it's not very coherent info... just hope there's anything coherent here... i think we can work with the texel island thing...

and perhaps dig out that statik person?
