Re: 8 March 2003
I've already checked the WHOIS.
Domains by Proxy, Inc.
15111 N Hayden Rd., Suite 160
PMB353
Scottsdale, Arizona 85260
so we won't get anything there.
PMB is a post office box, and Domains by Proxy sound like they make a living out of keeping whois data a secret.
He bought .com, .net, and 8march2003am, 8march2003eu, 8march2003as, and 8march2003au. All on the 10th of October.
NOTE: 8march2003.org was bought by a "adult web domain squatter on October 24th. not-in-game.

psychopath is such a misused term nowadays ;) i think this will be another homegrown ARG, a la LockJaw, built by members of the community.
See, the Beast brought together so many people, that one day, a handful of them decided to make a concentrated effort to make an ARG. The result? LockJaw.
Now, I think a handful of former Beast and LockJaw players have used their talents for this new ARG (by spec only).
Good luck to them, as I am needing something fun to play, and the Push experience has me scratching my head and wondering if the greatest games the world has ever seen have already passed us by
/me takes neither credit nor blame for anything in this post

given the quality of the website, and the fact that they used "Domain by Proxy", I would agree with you. The only thing that bugs me is that the date - March 8. That is so far away for something home-grown. Shoot, I could start today and have a quality product by March 8th. There's no way I would start advertising that early in advance. So, "homegrown ARG" is third on my list. With the top two being "crackpot" and "movie/tv tie-in", in that order.

Thanks to the radio stations that have mentioned my site and offered to interview me on their programs, but I must keep low for now.
A special thank you to Amy's i. Your readers are pretty much on the ball, picking up the numerous clues. Some of your readers have been spot on with what this event is about.
For those who tend to take things a little too seriously, please re-read the first paragraph of my posting on October 23rd and that should put you at ease.
A word of appreciation to those who have emailed me with positive comments, you are obviously enjoying the intent and mystery, leading up to the event.

Also, "spot on" was in bold. Hmmmm.... http://www.spoton.de/
Can't find any relevent material, but then again, I haven't spent much time on it either.
Does anyone else feel like maybe we're missing something here?
