This was the most fun I've had in the game yet.

Funny how even with the Nazi gold, I'm still not rich enough to even get on the leader boards.

Ah well, to the women and booze it goes!

Next question. SOMEone spent much time telling Svetlana they would get her to the US. She has a Croatian passport now, what are you going to do to follow through on your promises?

OK, first question is SHOULD we try to help her? She's not the nicest lady. (It's a little unclear to me why people were trying to help her after she offed two prisoners for a card game.)

But if you're serious, what would get an unemployed war refugee on a ship?

Money, of course. But Thunderclap has the treasure. Perhaps someone can get her more?

She could marry an American citizen - any offers?

How did this game come about? Did you happen upon Polaris in a room or was the time and place of the game indicated in one of the profiles?

If you make the game characters all poker buddies (open the PM window and make someone a buddy; when the list opens there's a search box to add more). That list tells you when those people are online, but not where. (Thanks, catherwood!) When they get online check their profile for a room, although that does not update very fast. I found it faster to flick through the room list in the lobby and see who was sitting in them.

madam - somehow AmberJoy ran into Polaris, that's the part I'm not clear on, but I'm pretty sure it was random. Once she agreed to join his game, he asked her to find other players. She asked in IRC who was interested, and we joined in.

I also question that we'd really want to get Svetlana into the US. She was after all, not exactly a wonderful person. The reason we made her suggestions in the game, or at least the reason I did, was mainly to keep her talking and the information flowing.

Eh, I wouldn't be too worried. The worst that could happen/have happened is that Polaris facilitates the asylum request, and she finds herself in trouble during the McCarthy era.

I'm pretty sure the killing angle would slow down...eventually....
