Interesting xbox 360 dash board pic

IGN ran a story on the Xbox 360 dash board. Here's a link to a pic they showed:

http://media.xbox360.ign.com/articles/659/659789/img_3156205.html

check out the title of the top game.

(2 winners per country), you don't get an xbox with 3 games like this hex competition.
agreed though, it's crap how you've been overlooked completely.

So honestly, What do you all think?

I've got that same picture of me, with just a plain background, haven't decided which to use yet.

Two prizes will be awarded across entrants from all of the participating countries. The two prizes consist of a one person trip to an event celebrating the launch of Xbox 360 in the United States for three nights in November 2005 (valued at approximately £3,000/€4,500). Exact dates to be confirmed by 1 November 2005.

Wow, yeah. That's total crap.

Slight speculation here, but don't ya think if a person won this contest, was flown from Europe to the U.S., and was there for three days... Ya *think* they might get an XBox360 as well? I'm guessing..... yes.

Don't know if anyones noticed, but you totally get a trip if you win the contest as well...
A Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming console, three Xbox 360 game titles (Perfect Dark Zero, Project Gotham Racing 3 and Kameo: Elements of Power) , a one (1) year membership to Xbox LIVE, and a three day/two night trip for the winner to an Xbox 360 even
So yea, they are giving away 360 trips, 360 Xbox 360's, all with three games and a year sub to Live!

Oooh I want to go to an XBOX event!!!
There are still no submissions for 6 or 30 people. I bet something submitted to that category would definitely win!

Anybody in the Chicago area feel like doing something? We had a Chicago meet, I'm sure we can get together for free XBOX360s!

This contest doesn't really interest me anymore. But I thought I'd share something that I ran across today.

101101000.com = 168 in hex = 360 in dec.

The members at TXB started working on it.

It seems it's counting down to the midnight launch on the 11/22.

Might just be BS, but thought I'd share.

Yea, that big ball looks like the 360 symbol rotating around slowely. It's not exactly binary, it's base two numbers. Go put in a few of the numbers that are on the page into the box, a few of them change the color of the text.
Edit- I take that back, the only one that has worked so far for me, is the peach colored one, 00000000000000101101, which translates from base 2 to the number 43.
I also got bored and decoded all the numbers on the page as they appear now, apparently more and more are being added, slowely.
529 ---- 882
211 ---- 282
143 ---- 198
102 ---- 104
82 ---- 101
71 ---- 79
54 ---- 61
45 ---- 48
36 ---- 37
24 ---- 29
22 ---- 23
19 ---- 21
16 ---- 18
14 ---- 14
10 ---- 12
7 ---- 8
6 ---- 6
4 ---- 5
3 ---- 3
2 ---- 2
2 ---- 2
1 ---- 1
1 ---- 1
1 ---- 1
1 ---- 1
The first column adds up to 1406 and the second column adds up to 1939 and the two of them added together gets ya 3345. I see nothing, other then the fact that 43 is the only one that changes the text color on the page.

Tiny, you get a 10 from me Smile

Looks like they are showing the top 25 now- and frankly, most of them are not that good.
Also I went to Wal-Mart yesterday, and played the 360, and it was AWESOME.
Here's mine- vote for it please!

Those numbers are constantly changing. Call me crazy, but I think we're supposed to mix codes in order to create a color that matches that of the 360 symbol.

Woo! I'm actually going to do a 30 person one. I have about 15 people in my group so far, and we're looking for 15 more. We'll be videotaping on Tuesday night, and I've contacted Jason Lutz about it; they may even send a team down to "collect evidence" for us! I'll keep you guys updated.

In any case, the enly thing we lack is a really good idea. We live on campus, and we'll be doing the video when it's dark out (7 PM EST). Anyone have a good idea that 30 people can do?
