So, we've only uncovered one name in today's update.
and revealed several cards.
Is that it?
Go to the Puzzle Thread and work on the puzzle. That is what will unlock most of today's cards.

Gun Owner The picture on Lothar's page of the "Gun owner" must be the "old nebraska lawman" mentioned by John Whitecloud. A man that age in 1929 could easily have had a son who would be right age to serve in WWII. So we have an alias of "richardson". I can't find a first name to use from the WWII stuff yet.

My wife is good with Spanish. She gave me this translation:
Quote:
It's Johnny...
Yes, nothing, no more than...
Yes, I'll be at the house on Sunday for dinner...
I know, I know. Shut up a minute, I wanna ask you something..
That's fine, I'm sorry. I didn't catch (what was said ?)..
Listen, I have this pawn shop ticket, and I was thinking that...
No, I don't need money, it's not that...
Listen...
Listen...
If needed money, I would have asked you for it first. Look, i need to hide something and I thought if the pawn (was something you could resolve ?)...
I don't want to keep the ticket anymore...
Mother of God! You're going to give me a headache, you know that?
No, seriously, thank you brother
hrm. beaten to it while typing.

The small favors all now have selected photos from what people have sent in!
Jinxie noticed it as we were talking just now.

Johnny appears to have a brother (hermano, unless he is just using that figuratively). We need a first name to go with 'Deuces'.
And we need a first name (or a whole real name) for "Richardson" the 1929 Gun owner.

David, Davey, DJ sounds like he might be important too. We know he's in a band and likes the band Against Me. He's McPherson's son, but may not have the same last name.
We have also heard a bit more about Porky this update, wonder if we should be looking for him.

Movie When Matt is talking to Benito in the conversation on Benito's page he says:

Hey, did you ever see that movie about that kid who would dress like a pilot and ride on airplanes all the time?
That is Catch Me If You Can .
Leo DiCaprio plays Frank Abagnale. Don't know if we can use the "Frank" for anything. Probably a red herring.

So Seamus' last name is Janet Brown's maiden name, and it is Irish (from the letter on Janet's page . I tried McPherson on the off chance - any other putative Irish names kicking around.

Arana, I really think Dueces isn't Johnny's real last name. Not sure though. It just seems like too cool of a name.

I don't really understand that triangle either.
The letter was addressed to Mary (Mary who? Maybe one of the 8 cards. Not mary Brown, I tried that)
Mary had a child named Lionel and another son as well. Is it Lucky's mother?
I think the Irish thing was a joke about another possible father (possibly an old flame)
The Brown family tree would say that Rick Brown was married to Janet and they were the parents Zach, Seth, Devon, and Lucy. This would make Rick and Lionel brothers. unless Janet kept her maiden name.
Maybe Mary is Lucky and Ricks mother and Seamus is her brother or brother-in-law (possibly the old Irish flame, re: the red hair-Seamus is an Irish.Scottish name isn't it?).

Oh yeah! Thanks! It's to "Mary". Who the heck is Mary? and why does Janet have the letter? The dates running around my head turning into letters have completely addled my brain!
