Indee, if you all ever want to view the brand new cards I acquired, then go to http://photobucket.com/albums/v625/ritzy85/?sc=5 .
This also has the picture of the crumpled note (which I am now the very proud owner of!). I really hope they do something similar in the UK again soon. I don't really care where they do it. I'll go regardless![/url]

Just to explain the leitmark, the dots spell "CUBE" in binary. Not sure why the Lost is backwards, or why there's the purple dot after it.
EDIT: Ryan, the link you've posted requires a login. Perhaps you could post the cards in the forum and on the Card catalog?

Just been reading the wiki page for the ground teams work yesterday, it finished off mentioning that something will be happening in 48 hours time on the receda approach rememberance page? Anybody have any thoughts on it?

yeah, we vaguely talked about it over in the online thread someone on IRC figured out it was hard coded to return an error message atm, but if you click around you'll see that we may be able to get in without a username or password by using the admin/auditor account which as of yesterday was locked out for 48 hours...
rach =)

MC wouldn't violate the OOGness, but I don't know how other seasoned cube hunters who are not part of our lovely little community here would feel about being tailed.
1) we ARE a load of madmen/women
and
2) saturday was totally In Game so they had every right to follow people and do as they wish -- they are building the story line.
IMO

1) Yes, I know
2) Sorry, that was all phrased wrong - I meant that MC wouldn't send a mole who claimed they were on unforums, that would just be weird. MC have every right to follow us around whenever they like and find out just how mad we really are.

"Watch" was written, in blue biro, on a crumpled up note in the backpack which had the cards in it. Also on the paper was the 3P "triple cube" symbol, and..*ponders* I think it may have had AID01, or some other notation which I'd heard throughout the day.

AID01Kind was the name of the Flickr account the radio-play pics were sent to...

MC's "It's not a game" approach might clear them of that. As far as that goes, this site is a group of people trying to solve the puzzles to retrieve the cube for sente (and the prize money). So a mole WOULD join the forums, in order to track our progress...
It's kind of a good excuse for any minor OOG/IG transgressions...

3. On - line mysteries...I recall the ground team getting info on the strange pictorial grid that introduced the access website (I think), where pictures of things like sleeping children, gravestones and streetlamps were all to be seen. As far as I am aware, in the heat of the moment, no - one thought to ask whether there was a symbolic meaning intended in this.
I actually found the /sculptor page, and I was trying to work exactly this out, when I noticed that someone else on IRC had worked out that the sleeping people gave us a 3 digit code, which was used to access something else. (I can't remember what it was unfortunately! - is there a full IRC transcript anywhere?)
I suspect this page was just for this access code, but I could be wrong!

Hi Phyrefly, to clear up any possible future confusions, Unfiction is catagorically 100% out of game and will never ever be visited/referenced by any in-game characters ever. MC can still moniter it to track our progress but they would never post here and the characters in-game (such as the mole) would never claim to have heard of it.
I guess that's why the Metro ad was a useful tool because it gave him a very plausible explanation.

Well, as a roundup, what an absolutely brilliant day! Though if I'm honest, I still have no real idea what happened, or what we achieved (and I've even read through all the threads, at least once) - but thoroughly enjoyed myself, really pleased to meet people, and try and put faces to names. Also chuffed my umbrella came into its own, to get the pots out of the lake - those geese were never going to help us out - miffed we never solved the boat puzzle in time.
And I'm convinced that next time - with Ollie's excellent suggestions - we'll be even more of a force against them.
What happens next?
