My head hurt soooo bad this morning. Driving 250 miles with a hangover was not good.
I've uploaded the some pics from the day here
There's a video of the helicopter taking off, lots of pics from the pub, pics of some of the puzzles and us all running around etc.....[/url]

Well, I had a fabulous time thanks to the coolness of the various black motorized vehicles, the freebies, the excessive running about and shouting, and, most of all, because it was fabulous meeting some you great people. Although my greatest regret is not figuring out who Leeravitz was to see if he talks like he writes
I agree that what hindered us the most was a lack in central organization and communication. Drawing up a list of the contact numbers of the ground team and online support before hand would be really useful for next time.
Here is a link to my photos of the some of the days events, including a picture of the MOLE: http://www.flickr.com/photos/24414503@N00/

Kirjava, if you were with the 'buried secrets' lot then you were with Lee for ages If you look at the pic titled 'Reason and co. arriving by taxi just in time' he's between Pineapple and the woman in pink, with the brown jacket.
Thanks for the pics, more are always useful.

just while im thinkin about it, does anyone know where the 'beacon 4 activated' thing came into it? One group found an envelope with a telephone number and when called it apparently said beacon 4 had been activated?

I'm gutted I missed this now, although a prior commitment to birthday parties and getting horendously drunk means that I couldn't have made the reletivly short trip from Oxford to London anyway... It sounds like everyone had a fun (if confusing) day and I hope there's another one soon so I can get in on the act.
[Edit due to hangover induced bad spelling. (Well, thats my excuse!)]

There's purple dot on all of the three different types of leitmarks we've seen, the 333 ones, the MC ones and these ones.

Well, as distractions go, a big ol' helecopter taking off is a pretty good one...

updated with some more pictures including the beacon 4 find, and some comedy radio play poses (which wasnt necessary, but) because we couldnt find any damn boxes... until moley found them for us.
Favourite parts: Arriving to see dozens and dozens of purple clad players. seeing old faces and meeting new ones, the weather, logging into irc and shouting out "JEDBURG STREET" to everyone, and then everyone running!, The Taking of The Taxi, the shiny black helicopter, the leitmark and the free beer. Thanks Mind Candy!
Not so Favourite parts: Getting lost and our group disbanding (blame the map), feeling as if I was missing all the fun in the other groups (until I found out they were also as lost). Forgetting peoples names.
Lessons to Learn: greater ground to online communication was needed - probably more so, however was ground to ground. I felt as if you folks online had lots to do without worrying what we were up to, i didnt understand when i was on the ground, how close we were working together. I also felt that, although we split into groups, these groups werent co-ordinated that well.
All in all, i had a fun time and i think i lost a stone too, from all the exercise
