Well, at least I'm hearing it. Does it have any image?

The swf shows a blurred shot of someone holding 4 notes in front of the camera. They look like:

sorry i'm late
sorry i made you wait

your clues were annoying
what's with this thing?

i'm no poet
but you're no hacker

scritchety scratch

There is also some music playing in the background, and if you listen closely, it sound like someone is typing when the last note is held up...

on metacotechs.com, aquapolis.com and underhosting.com there is a reference to the MetaPage V 1.0.4 for MAC. Considering the .graffle clue that was maybe a hint to look for mac file types on theauapolis.

Or Exactly the reverse, it depends on if the .graffe clue is new or not.

Suppose for a moment it's Not and was always there, then reference to MetaPage for the Mac on the Aquapolis site could have been a clue to look for Mac files. It Just happened that no one foiund it and so we had to be spoon fed the answer.

If of course the .graffe clue is new (perhaps to restart the game), then of course your theory might still merit investigation.

I am going to guess the .graffle extension is no more a clue than the .doc or .mp3 extension. Apple worked out a deal with Omni so that most, if not all, Macs come with OmniGraffle and OmniOutliner pre-installed with at least a demo version. OmniGraffle is what makes *.graffle files. It is basically like Visio, allowing you to make flowcharts and diagrams and such. I use it quite a lot (nearly every day) in architecting software. AppleWorks (a pre-installed office suite) and OmniGraffle are about as common in the Mac world as MS Office is in the Windows world.

We probably should have thought to look for Mac files, and it was probably there all along. Does anyone have a nice long list of file extensions spanning multiple operating systems? Wink

It actually looks more like it was held using chopsticks. This goes with the whole fortune cookie messages and oriental background music.
