Chat log

I'm not sure if this has already been posted.

In the chat log where texel and caesar come in, their hostnames are this:

Quote:
[08:21] *** Joins: Caesar (0cfc9a3eSPLAT3fd056b1.f4f1334.marzconsulting.com)
[08:21] *** Joins: texel (444d3b7eSPLAT3fd056b1.f4f1334.marzconsulting.com)

http://www.marzconsulting.com doesn't seem to be affiliated with the game. Located in Virginia? Does that mean it's not a clue?

Sorry if this has already been noted.

Some interesting infor about OmniGraffle

This is some interesting info about OmniGraffle:

Quote:
AppleScript™ support:
For the propellerheads: AppleScript support lets you attach clickable, executable scripts to diagram objects, and copy existing shapes as AppleScript to provide templates for new scripts. Scripts can be put in the toolbar for quick access.

Does this mean that you can inbed scripts in the image? Has anyone with a Mac tried to check?[/quote]

Dunno... But there are some 7- and 8- character combinations listed that we needed for Underscore. Probably not them, though?

So carrying the theme forward, could the text be an "Attempt" at Haiku?

I'm sorry, I don't see chopsticks... and the music does not sound too oriental...

It is not typing. It almost seems like fumbling with the MICrophone.

It also sounds like a pattern. Morse Code maybe?

Again, i'm going to remind everybody that i really don't think these puzzles are that complicated. As cool as it is to think that they use brail and morse code i really don't think they would make the puzzles that complicated.

The FTP @ Aquapolis thing was fairly direct and simple..

Haiku is not about lines, it's about syllables (5, 7, 5, 7, 7.).

In fact Original Japenese Haiku is written vertically in one column.
