OK. Urban T. Diteman is possible except if it is, it's more like

Urban DiTTman [junior?] (there is definitely no long "i" in the second name)

(the linked article above said he was a junior, can't really hear it but am supplying it as the third word). And from the article I don't know why rescuers would have been looking in Newfoundland since he was lost over the Atlantic flying FROM Newfoundland eastward.
