72 hours is over

Now that the 72 hour waiting period is over, I can talk. My wife succesfully called in and left her information. It was an automated system, you did not talk to anyone, unless you had a problem then you could talk to an operator to give your information. One of my children was making it difficult for both of us to work on the ultimate solve, so my wife worked on it herself. Both of us were thrown by the way Derek read the final clue and thought we had to re-arrange words. Once she had not solved quickly, I went to the TV to rewind it and play it again so I could see if I could figure it out, but while it was playing she figured it out. We did not know what to do with the clue at first, but it only took a few minutes for my wife to realize it was phone number. We were pretty sure it was too late, but called anyway and it turned out it was not too late. She entered her information and the recording said that they would contact you in the next 72 hours if you were a finalist. Obviously, she is not a finalist or I would not be talking about it now. Anyway, it was great fun playing the game. There were some things that I came up with that I held to myself, it turns out that most of those weren't very important. I will post about them later.

Congratulations to the winner, whoever he or she is. They deserve it. It's pretty amazing to be so close to actually winning a million dollars. The money would have been nice, but there are more important things in life then money.

One thing I have been wondering is if anyone has broken the code on the blue screen on the last episode, I started working on it, but I just can't get into it now that the game is over.

Later,
George
