Another Cnet article:
http://news.com.com/Lost+finds+deeper+reality+online/2100-1026_3-5918146.html
LCP starts being mentioned at the bottom of page 1, goes on to page 2.

A Madison professor talking about ARGs?

Why is that shocking?
Is it the location of the professor? Is it that he's a professor? Do you know him? Does he ask for salad dressing on the side? Perhaps he was a dalang in a past life!

Because he should have been doing it while I was there. Duh.

Nice GUN foldout ad/poster in the latest Official XBOX Magazine this month. They also put the GUN trailer on the disk it came with. I just got it last night and haven't had a chance to watch the trailer yet though.

A few more nods in the press:
SciFi Wire has a brief interview with Sean Stewart.
Congrats to Sean as well on his World Fantasy Award nomination!
Less complimentary (and more bloggish), although I found it funny , is Oddjack's take. Apparently, they're worried that Serious Outdoor Poker Players will go to the NYC event expecting Serious Outdoor Poker, and instead be confronted by "a bunch of theater dorks from NYU."
Also, Gridskipper , "the urban travel guide," has a few notes about LCP here .
Finally, Fi posted this article from the Boston Globe in the general press thread, but since it does discuss Last Call Poker, I've reposted the link here.

A friend of mine passed along this blogger's entry:
http://jayisgames.com/archives/2005/11/last_call_poker.php
My friend couldn't be convinced to attend the DC live event, but reading this blog finally got him hooked on LCP. Go figure.
p.s. my friend is Persona if you would care to QuickLink him before Saturday -- he's not on the Addermajiggy yet. Thank you.

Gamecloud just posted a rather fun interview with "42 Entertainment." (They didn't specify with whom they were speaking.)
The interview was a general interview, but there was quite a bit about LCP.
Something I found rather interesting was this:
Interview wrote:
Gamecloud - Are there any plans for 42 Entertainment to create their own game using
their campaign methods, similar to what EA's Majestic tried to do?
42 Entertainment - "No comment" <smile>
And a direct statement on the theme of LCP:
Interview wrote:
What we needed to do was to come up with a way to remind gamers that Westerns aren't just something your grandfather liked—westerns are cool.

Very cool interview and background on how they came up with the story and LCP to market GUN.

oh gah, except they attributed Our Colony to them. Heh.

Maybe this was added after you read it, but they mention right at the top that they spoke to Jim Stewartson and Sean Stewart. I guess maybe you meant which of the two were actually answering each individual question ...
