Same thing happened to me twice. The first time was before he knew anything disastrous had happened, when he said he was sure that, if someone had sent the S.W.A.T. team, "those guys don't go in for no reason." The second time was after he learned what was really going on, and he said the whole thing was "very regrettable" but had happened "in pursuit of the public good." He sounded really miserable parroting those words.

Awww.

He was so sweet.

Hilarious! One of the things he told me was that he had come "very close to passing" the FBI's physical test "the first time." I had some difficulty not giggling. Laughing

Heeee! Very Happy

It was funny, talking to Melissa, I was terrified, and Kristen can still give me a conditioned adrenaline rush by talking like Melissa, but I was not nervous at all talking to Roger. I wanted to give him a tranquilizer, bur I was not nervous. Wink

That would have been me Embarassed , trying to be all clever and get the S.W.A.T. team not to go to the building by starting the rumor that Matt wasn't even there. (Hey, we didn't actually know he was there, right?) Of course, then I got the phone call between Ben and Matt, and that was pretty much that. Oops.

Heh!

Oh well, it all worked out well.

Or not, seeing as Ben died.

(Oh, yeah. Forgot that little formality. Sorry, Astald! Embarassed )

Raider, why do you think we have 6 more weeks? I'm thinking it wraps up Nov 19th at the LA Graveyard Games.

Probably because there are six cards at the top of the page with nothing under them, following the seven with links. However, since the site started going back in time, each week is now taking up two cards, not one. Plus, because the Muck is always a week behind, there's nothing up for this week, yet, which should eat up two of the six cards remaining. That gives us Muck updates for only two more weeks -- which coincidentally just happens to be the number of Graveyard Games before what I agree is likely to be the Big Finale in Los Angeles.

No problem Shad0, I wasn't mad, just joking around.
And I try to be a little vague on update day posts kona, I don't like ruining the suprise by telling people what the actual update is, just that there is one. I may have been a bit too vague about the muck page, but that is because I wasn't sure if that had happened on Saturday. I was a bit out of it on Saturday (Halloween partying and all) so I didn't want to look too much like an ass if I was bringing up old news.

Shado is right, I saw the cards up top of the muck page, didn't think about a week taking two cards though.

That's very kind of you, but let's review my day so far:

(1) Trouted the first new post in the update thread. Wrong.
(2) Told Roger that Matt wasn't even in the building at 5441 Graham. Wrong.
(3) Told everyone in chat that there was no way Matt could fit through that tiny little drain in the freezer. Wrong.
(4) Suggested to konamouse that Kellie O'Grady didn't take the Gun with her when she left Bierce's room with Patton. Wrong.

I think that's enough damage for one day. Bang Head

Not sure if I glossed over someone else mentioning it, but there's an update for Toller Fazio, with him talking to Delaje.

No update to Delaje, yet.

I agree with you Nadif that Lucky's last update is great writing.

Off topic:
Holy Cow! I have to say that I never would have even thought about buying "GUN" if it weren't for last call poker.

Now I'm feeling like I'll be missing out if I don't.

I hope the success of this game release spills over. I'd love to do this at least once a year for a new game.

Where did the blueprints come from?

The blueprints on Hearst's page, for the Grande Hotel at 5441 Graham, match the address on the arrest warranty that Harry Nakagawa swore out for Matt Viet a while back.

Oh, of course. For some reason I thought that those were for the four deuces or something. How could I have been so dumb?

Cool LCP trailer in .wmv format!!!!

I think I saw this here somewhere, but cant find it now with SEARCH.

As one of the MANY updates to the site today, if you click on the big "The Story of GUN" button on the Main Page, it takes you not only to the new cool Muck, but also downloads a long trailer that is for LAST CALL POKER, *NOT* for GUN!!! It has a few spoilers, but I won't spoil them for you!

I really like that the affiliations now show on the Top Players page! Now I don't have to click all the richest players to see if we have a compatriot on there (go MadamObrien!). Lots of other slick stuff, I love the new Muck!

Woo-hoo! I went over 100 quicklinks today. Thank you all!
