Does anybody check this thread anymore!? If so, please discuss this...it is very interesting.

The morse code now translates into:

IN GIRUM IMUS NOCTE ET CONSUMIMUR IGNI

which is discussed on this page

I am trying to check in here regularly, but there is a much bigger discussion on bigspaceship1 over at thefuselage.com and at 4815162342.com.

Picture hidden in the polar bear thing on bigspaceship1.com

Ok, so I thought I'd fiddle around with the flash thing on bigspaceship.com, and this is what I came up with:

http://pages.uindy.edu/~stclairlp/WTF.png

I managed to get the hidden scorpion to pop up by taking a screen shot of the window, pasting it into Adobe Photoshop, and adjusting the contrast to +100 and the brightness to -29. Wierd, huh?

Can someone admin create a better forum setup for lost so we can create threads in the lost section and be able to discuss each webpage as we find it so that it just doesn't become one long thread and everything can be way more organized since we now know this is going to be an arg.

what you mean theres a shark?

i love lost but i do think this thread should be locked as everything that has been posted so far is just a rehash of 4815162342.com.Which means just rereading everything that has been posted in there and its in greater detail etc. However if anyone does have details of a possible arg or spec that has not been posted there. Then post away to your hearts content.

What you mean there's A SHARK?

We're not usually in the habit of locking threads here just because someone else on the internet is talking about the same thing Wink

Usually what will happen is that this thread will be moved to the potential ARGs section, where you would be able to create multiple threads for the same game. Then if it proves to be an ARG it will get its own section. I'll ask the admins if it's time to move it to Potential for now.

we do? I mean, honestly, are we sure it is going to be a game? yes, there are sites to go along with things, and mini games, and yes - a hidden creepy crawley. I HOPE this is going to be an arg, but so far i see no real evidence it is anything more than sites that coorespond with episodes.

TBPH, I don't think this is an ARG, just viral marketing drowning in spec (such as 4815162342 is. The websites just keep people interested in the mysteries of Lost. I mean, there's no real puzzles, most of the time it seems we're making our own puzzles to pass the time!

it seems like that they are trying for something different with this one. Articles about it point to the lost crew trying to do it like 42 entertainment.

Been a long time since I've been down here, back during the whole Metacortechs thing. Ahh I miss the days of sending Caesar stegged clues for him to figure out.

Less being an urchin, more on-topic:

I'm sure you've all seen http://www.dharmaindustries.com/ by now, and though it is indeed not associated with ABC productions, it does have the feel of an ARG to it, espescially some of the latest developments.

I spent the better part of today messing with the intrduction page, and I figure out a way to get past the scrolling faux IPs that it scans.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
by hovering your mouse at the 7 o'clock position on the dharma symbol (outside the line) the numbers will all roll over green

Following that, I was presented with a digital console that eventually prompted me to enter a code. Using the "evil numbers" from Lost, I was able to delve deeper.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
4815162342 - All entered in sequence as shown here

The section after that has be at a loss however. It prompts for a user login, and I can't think of a single thing to try. It only gives you three chances to properly log in before it locks you out of the system and you have to go through the whole process over again.

Now, I've not foind a single trailhead for this actually being an ARG, despite the connections to the TV show inherant to its design.

I toss it off to you now, to put our heads together and maybe come up with a trailhead or a solution to the login.

It's good to be back Smile

This has been discussed before, even intheis thead, but...

Uhm, factual you can't say its not abc. Absence of proof is no proof of absence.

What you can say its a swedish based site so its bloody unlikely. But listed to a po-box in herndon virginia. So take a guess. However it may be a cunning ploy to distract you from finding yet a nother hatch. Wink

btw: www.kraftkost.se also 'hosted' www.di9fftr731.com, reference to the code on the food. Kraftkost means something like Power food or Health food.

Allof ABC's official lost sites (such as http://www.thehansofoundation.org/) has connection to the ABC terms of use. This site not having such a thing smacks of a fan creation more than an official one. However, it's more typical for fan creations to be ARGs, at least the whole Metacortechs thing was a large fan event that was so professionally done it was believed to be a Warner Brothers production.

Double-posting for relevant info; I followed my own link back to the Hanso foundation and I do indeed believe an official ARG in some fashion is going on.

The hanso foundation site (linked above) is linked directly from ABCs official "Lost" website at http://www.oceanicflight815.com by clicking on the shaft of blue light.

On the Hanso site there is a video within a hidden link in the "active projects" section that is from episode 2.03 "Orientation". Beyond this, one of the other active projects (Ref: Life Extension) now links to a document about projects going well.

If you click on the bottom row of text in the letter it brings you to a jumbled series of text and a strange post-info box (ref: "Haxored"). I did a check of the page source and found some Ascii code hidden in the Java Script at the bottom of the page.

Quote:
110,101,103,97,104,110,101,112,111,67
102,105,103,46,111,104,119,95,114,116,108,47,115,1 01,103,97,109,105

Those numbers are ASCII for:

negahnepoC | fig.ohw_rtl/segami

Flipping the reverse text reveals:

Copenhagen | images/ltr_who.gif

Following the images directory to the link brings up another document, this time of a far less satisfactory and unsettling nature about alarming experiments. (ref: LRT WHO)

Beyond this, if you type "Copenhagen" into the text submit box on the garbeled page, it will clearly display the LTR WHO document.

This document also references a Meningococcal disease, doing a little google research I discovered the following:

Quote:

Meningococcal disease is an acute bacterial infection that can cause death within hours if not recognised and treated in time. Although the majority of victims will recover fully, 10% of those infected will die, and around 20% will have permanent disabilities, ranging from learning difficulties, sight and hearing problems, to liver and kidney failure, scarring caused by skin grafts and loss of fingers, toes and limbs.

__

With this new information, is it possible that there are other avenues of exploration on the site? I've dug as deep as I can seem to find right now, but through the teamwork from the whole 'Cortechs incident I'd hazard to guess there's more things buried in the site I have yet to find.

In the source of the KHR.html document, there is a commented section of text that reads <!-- LOL H4x0r3d!!1 --> which I believe may indicate outside sources attempting to work towards uncovering what the Hanso Foundation is up to.

Lemmie know what you can dig up, and I'll keep my eyes peeled. Something fishy is going on.
