The doctor never let us down before
what does that mean "The doctor never let US down before?"
who's US with jordan?

I think (if I read between the lines corectly) he is refering to us as we do. The doc didn't let us down by making us contact eachother. Therefore we are all in this as 'us'.
Still, good question to ask. Could be there are more people at that end.
I think we have a new level of trust. Now I expect a new level of information. But then... what we have learned from him is he\she (we still don't know if our Jordan isn't a girl) knows little more then we do.

Sounds almost like it hurts... a lot.
I was refering to quality ... As to the number ... I'm way ahead:
you 31 [0.02% of total / 1.72 posts per day]
me 125 [0.06% of total / 5.95 posts per day] Try not to spam but... Its so hard not to

still and all (s)he supposedly has the book dr munchen wrote.
The other thing is,
Quote:
To my surprise the very book that I had been looking for was up for auction. "Born Beyond Belief" a series of notes about space, matter and time written by Dr. Munchen.
It was an original copy. But how original I didn't know at the time. Inside the book was a sleeve of paper with "page 3 of 92" written on it and at the bottom it was signed, Dr.Munchen.
looking at what we have received already, i dont see a piece of paper marked 3 of 92, nor anything signed dr munchen.
I guess that we still need to get that.
Greetz,
D.

So, just out of curiosity, how many of those contained useful information?
Back to the topic -
Should I bother keeping the IRC channel registered? There is only ever me and at most one other person there. It hardly seems worth it at the moment.

There is an 'original copy' with one original page in it? From the actual manuscript? The book then could count 93 pages. I'm very curious how these pages look. Are the pages shown on the site pages from the book or interpretations made by Jordan?
Question: Can someone tell me what an original copy is? Must be I'm not a native speaker but I miss the distinction between 'a copy' and 'an original copy'.

You can check yourself but I hope 90% at least...... depending on your definition of useful. It just could drop to 0 for some. Hope that was a useful answer to your question? (91% )

is a translation issue..
Original copy means: "origineel"
Copy means: "een copie van het origineel"

Thats how far I got. I did not get the idea it was the original manuscript. Just that one page. So I would call it just 'a copy'. I'm looking for an explanation for the original copy... like a handwritten version perhaps? something like that.
No I was not being cinical for a change.
[EDIT] Why else would you be surprised to find a page like the one jordan found if it was the original?

Hmm.. very much a translation issue...
Technically speaking an 'original copy' is not a copy at all, it is the original piece of work.

The IRC channel is an Internet Relay Chat server with the easiest access located here .
I created the channel so that discussion would be able to flow more naturally between players (it's easier to bounce ideas off people in real-time).
To enter the chat, just change 'lurker' to whatever you want your visible name to be, then change 'unfiction' to 'menacemedia'. Finally click the 'arrow' button at the bottom of the applet.

I have seen the picture of this woman before, but right now i cannot remember who the person is.
I would bet money that that is not a woman but is, in fact, Nicolaus Copernicus.

Hello everybody,
I am lost a bit with the whole bunch of information we got during the last days. For that reason i put up a wiki on my homepage, so that we have a better way to structure the information we know for sure.
Have a look at: Menace-Media.com Wiki
Maybe this is a bit too early, but what do you think about that?
Draghkar, I copied your mancharacters -information already to the wiki. Hope that was allright. (I didn't do that for Anne, because we now presumably got to know about her former live and there is this problem with her name (Preston/Mooney). Jin is female, i already corrected that in the wiki )
Greets,
Patrol

So many questions is the phrase right? And if there is so little time why waist it? Strange reaction to his own comment.

Me too, labfly. Me too. But after playing along with the pictures of Copernicus and the anne2 one in my gimp I have to admit, their similarity is nearly 99%.
EDIT: Hey, good job Puppy. I tried the same with my gimp
On the other hand, Copernicus has written a book called De revolutionibus orbium coelestium (On the Revolutions of the Heavenly Spheres ). For sure we know, this book is about his idea of the sun as the center of our universe. Though it includes a lot of myths and hypothesis, Copernicus wasn't able to give proof for. Maybe this is too far out of game, but there may be a connection to the book "Born Beyond Belief" or at least the revolution.
