Sure feels like the choise was not coincidental. When this much coincidence converges I don't call that a coinsidence. Its kismet. I don't think we need to reread our clasics but I do believe this is a clue... as to what and how? Dunno yet.

[EDIT] similarities: book by a 'heritic' on other subject then the current state of science. Revolution.


Besides as this is not a game... how can it be too far out?

 		FYI: Nicolaus Copernicus and De revolutionibus orbium coelestium.

EDIT: I'm reading through the conversations you had with Lisa, Anne, Carl and Jin to update the wiki with some information. Though Jin has told quetzlecloth she is indeed a woman, all others speak of her as a man. Am I missing something?

Does this look familiar to anybody? No coincidence in my view. May even be the mirrorstory.

Now... You feel it comming. I'm bringing 'the original copy' up again.
How can the original be in Massachussets (Gingerich) and in Poland (university) at the same time? Still think its not only the translation. Also note it reads an original copy.

 		But what you suggest would assume that "De Revolutionibus" and the other book are the same. Most are only saying that Copernicus and Munchen are connected, from what I gathered, not that they are the same person.

We must remember, too, that "original copy" is not a copy at all, or more accurately, in English, when referring to literature (or videogames, or a few other things), "a copy" only means "one of the thing" - thus "an original copy" would mean "one of the originals (first-print)."

No no no.... nothing like the same. I was talking mirror story.

    Mirror-story (reference to Lewis Carroll's "Alice Through the Looking Glass").
    Seemingly identical plotelements making up a (possibly very) different story that may follow the same plotline up to a point.
    Noticible differences can be: Good guy is now the badguy. No happy end this time. The 'otherside' of the story is highlighted. Also popular in crossover-stories, Alien v. Predator and allternate universe-stories, DS9: Through the Looking Glass

    Famous writer that provided for many scripts the mirrorstory is Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet has been rewritten and molded into new stuff into the hundreds of times. Still you recognise Romeo and Juliet in it.
What I am suggesting is that we could expect more parallels between the two. What that would be? Stuff Coprnicus was famous for I expect. Him being excomunicated for his idea springs to mind. De Revolutionibus remained on the Roman Catholic's list of prohibited books until 1835.

Just keep an eye out.

Jin: Free Internet Chess Server. Jin is designed in a manner such that most of it is not dependent on any particular server and so support for other servers can be easily added.

Three server oriented programms with people names.

Also for those asking why choose the name Menace-Media. Well Munchen always said that anyone can conduct bad electricity meaning that anyone can be a "Menace" if they are brought up around bad troublesome surroundings. Media is short for Medium. I felt that media sounded more modern. Also what is this about the Doctor muttering my name before his "taking"

 		Oh ok, in that case I suppose I will alter the nasty email into one more fitting. I'd still like some more information though. His explanation of where he got menace-media from is rather weak in my opinion. Confused

I'll send Jordan the log of my conversations with Lisa and with Anne tonight. As always, I'll post any reply I get.

The explanation is not only weak.. its.. insulting to our intellect. And his/hers. Needs digging I guess.

[EDIT] Could somebody take a look at this? I'm only seeing stuff I can't place but.. well I'm the 'pictureman'. Whats sticking out is: urn:schemas-microsoft-com and <v:formulas> section (or is that a hard way to make a ?-mark? Anyone?
