Sounds like a good plan. I don't know what I'll be wearing, and I probably won't be all that easy to spot. Unless, I decide to wear nothing. Then I will be quite easy to spot. As you can imagine. Or don't want to imagine.
Yeah, but the D&B has a very convenient and open front lobby with a tree(!) for people to gather, so that is where we can all hook up. Also, I live like 5 miles from the D&B, no kidding, so if you have any questions, want directions, info about the area, etc., etc., either pm me for my cell phone number or just respond here. Ok, I'm done.

'Cause, like, there's no way you'd catch me there, otherwise.

If you're driving, any ideas where to park? Pretty much the only parking at the cemetery proper is just pulling over on the side of the road, but considering the people that might be there, space will run out.
What makes you say that? There's a huge parking lot right next to the cemetery.

I know I've pretty much fallen off of the map, but I plan on showing up about 1 hr early just to ensure parking. I'll have my new DS with me and my Nintend-pup "Meatwad" for entertainment.
PM me for my celly for the Fri night get together.
I'll leave all of the online coordination to the people who have been playing religiously from the beginning. I just need someone to tell me what to do.

Frommer's has an overview of the cemetery here:
One thing to note is that you can park for free inside the grounds.

Well, that's a relief with the parking issue. Anyone of us have a portable AM/FM radio?

Are you laughing at me? Are you laughing at ME? Do you find me funny? Am I here to entertain you?
Oh. Well. I don't have a portable AM/FM radio. So I figured I would ask. Does anyone have pie?

I'm bringing my digital-tuning radio that worked well in DC.
But no pie.

I have one that I carry with me to work. It's one of those crappy ones you get for free for subscribing to a magazine (although, that's not how I got this one).
I can pick up some fresh batteries when I buy the flower. My only concern is that the reciever may be too weak to pick up the pirate channel.

There's a couple of grocery stores around here that sell flowers, so if you don't want to carry on from wherever you are coming from. Of course, I only speak for myself, because a flower in my presence will die in about 2 hours. It's really sad. So, I'm going to have to buy one right before I go.

That's my plan as well. We may as well get a bouquet and just split it up between us. Probably cheaper that way. We can even stop at the Super Target next to D&B if you think it'll last the night.

Guys! Please! It's a big city! Lots of opportunities to pick up flowers on the way. In fact, if we know how many compatriots will meet us there, we should just pick up a bunch and split up the (reduced) cost when we get to the cemetery.

I think we know 4 of us are going to be there. 3 are in the same hotel room and I'm 4 miles down the road. I don't know what this proves, but I'm proving something.
QED.
