Okay, I can do that, but what time? The west coast people don't even start showing up until 9pm.

I felt strange tingles and jingles yestarday, and for whatever reason the ILB DVD caught my eye from behind my monitor last night. I popped it in and listened to just about every chapter. Man, the memories.

And I teared up at the Farewell again. AGAIN! Man, I don't do that ever! (Except at the end of Return of the King....)

And then I realized, and it hit me... it's the Haloversary. I didn't even see it coming, and here it is.

So yes, tonight I will definitely be on Live. There's a very good chance that it'll be the last time I play my 'Box before I take it in for store credit towards my impending 360.

Now then, to my current order of business. I don't know if any of you guys have seen it yet, but I think we might all know who the new contender for DOA4 is going to be...[/url]

Everyone, please apply your tinfoil hat NOW-ish.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Please let her be Jan... PLEASE let her be Jan... PLEEEEEEEEAAAASEEE???

O_O

I didn't think of that....

But it's possible, i mean, 458 is well past the "batch numbers" the books introduced us to....

Yeah, that's exactly what my eyes did when I was standing in my GameCrazy looking at the GameInformer in question... and I looked at the number and my eyes, without any other change in facial expression, became dinner-plate-ish.

One way or the other, this now means I'm going to own DOA4... and it also means I'm going to be a sadder panda than ever before since now I'm going to have two pre-ordered 360 games and no system to play them on. Bang Head (My GC has 76 preordered systems. Microsoft will only be shipping them 24. I was not among the first to preorder because I waited until the prices were announced.)

I was just at my GameStop switching my Ghost Recon:AW payoff to a DOA4 payoff.

The guy there said he knew nothing of the alleged "shortages", but to call the manager friday just to see.

He said he heard the consoles first started being produced back in August, so he still thought they'd have enough to cover what they took down as 1st and 2nd shipment preorders on the launch day.

Omalice and dropped rank

Stat Problems Solved Tonight
Posted by Frankie at 11/8/2005 11:14 PM

Thanks to a problem with Xbox Live servers, many players reported stat and ranking losses in the last 24 hours. The problem has been located by the Xbox Live team, and will be fixed when the service is taken offline for maintenance in the early hours of Wednesday, November 9th. Ranks should reset to their pre-problem levels at that time.

Unfortunately, that means any levels gained (or lost) in the intervening period, will be reset to the pre-problem state. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can read more about it at Xbox.com forums and we'll update as needed tomorrow.

OMFG.
We just got paired against Major Nelson and his party TWICE in a row on BTB. That's right, THE MAJOR NELSON!!!

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStats.aspx?gameID=345075381&player=Thorn%20Harvestar

I feel a little bad because his party had won 5 for 5 in BtB until they lost twice to us, then they called it a night. XD

DeathDefi took Vash's idea and put a plasma grenade on him, yelling "I STUCK IT TO THE MAN!!!"

Priceless!

I am not sure what voodoo doll I stuck pins into in order to summon angelo from the mysterious depths of Oklahoma for some BTB last night, but there you go.

Ubercado is much more modern in his summoning tactics - he called me on the phone to get me to come and play.

Good times. Smile
