If you type Play it goes to the same site. Its similar to the chat part of the site. Everyone can move the words around.

Finally put ours up today: here it is! Feel free to vote for it if you want (preferably something high).

EDIT: And I almost forgot; I'm the Indian guy in the sweater sitting on the bean bag (the second one who walks down the stairs).

Hooray, voting is less relevant, and stupid pictures that people cheated on won't win!
Got this email:
Quote:

From the Office of Dr. Jason Q. Lutz

Fellow believers of Hex 168 - the Beginning is Nigh!

We here at the bunker have been overwhelmed by the amazing and strong evidence that you have found all across the country. Having spent many years looking for such evidence, not to mention my favorite shoes, I now feel that my long struggle is over. Everyone will soon know the transformative powers of Hex 168!

The research staff has been working non-stop to catalog and validate your evidence. Their approach was consistent with the highest scientific practices. However, despite their best efforts, they inform me that the validation process has been infiltrated with some bad data. Yes, that's right, there is evidence that someone has tampered with our test data - it's a conspiracy I tell you!!!

Nonetheless, have no fear - I will personally ensure that each piece of data is validated. Yes, that is correct, EVERY piece of submitted evidence will be judged according to the original guidelines. Starting this morning, I have assembled our panel of qualified judges, and they will research and score each piece of evidence based on our research criteria - (1) originality (2) best evidence of the unusual among the mundane (3) entertainment value (4) production quality AND (5) voting score. Each of these factors will be weighed equally to score ALL evidence. This way we can ensure that evidence tampering will not invalidate those who are worthy.

We have also found that scientifically increasing the data pool will alleviate any chance for error. Good news for you - this means that more submissions will have a chance to win tickets to the special event heralding the new beginning. To that end, the research staff will increase the evidence pool as follows:

Category Semi-Finalists Finalists Winners
0-1 Single Occurrences 240 120 60
Group 6 Occurrences 120 60 30
Group 30 Occurrences 20 10 4
Total No. of People 1560 780 360

As stated in the Official Rules, 360 people will receive their white box of incalculable power 6 days in advance of the rest of the world and be VIPs at the "Zero Hour" event heralding the new power of Hex 168. In addition, 420 additional finalists will also receive a prize - an invitation to "Zero Hour", where thousands of gamers from around the world are invited to make the pilgrimage to an undisclosed location in the Mojave desert to witness the dawning of the next generation of gaming. The event will begin on November 20 when the sun sets on the desert horizon and end at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22.

Hold fast true believers - the Beginning is Nigh.

Jason Q. Lutz

Please refer to the "Official Rules" at www.hex168.com for more details.

Gratz, I voted often for all the pics that got linked from here... Just trying to help give back after the whole OC thing.

Have fun at the launch, it should be alot better than the MTV launch I got flown to.

I still have my fingers crossed that they will give me one as well. Still no word though.

See you all in the Mojave! Assuming I actually decide to go, that is. This is a tough decision...home or the middle of nowhere for Thanksgiving break? Anyone have any idea what's actually going on down there? I definitely don't won't to fly across the country to play video games with a bunch of people I've never even met before, if that's what it is. On the other hand, if there's something sweet like a 180 person vs 180 person paintball game going on, I'm definitely up for it.
