Well thru ebay Ive managed to get all but 1 of the silver cards via selling my complete colour swaps and the T-L-P I had. (Oh apologies to doublecross, I didnt ignore your PM, I just never saw it till a couple of days after I sold the card! Sorry!)
I must admit Ive probably paid far too much for them but hey ho, I'm 1 of those people who has to finish a wave of cards. Oh if you check on there now there are tons of the silvers around and the prices are currently a tenner ish. (still alot I know but they are starting to come down rapidly!)

Well, she's used it in 2 auctions now, I guess if she uses it and other pics again I'll make a complaint... And forward them a copy of her email...
Very cheeky, I'd definitely complain. Especially if she sent a nasty email. Would have been fine if she'd apologised and replaced the picture. If you think about it from the buyer's point of view it's actually deceitful because they think the picture is exactly what they're buying, there's no indication that the photo is merely representative.

Well, as of today, none of her perplex city auctions have images attached to them...
I've not complained, but I forwarded her Ebay's guidelines, didn't get a reply from her either!

I noticed that. After I posted here I looked at her other sales and noticed she hadn't put photos on any ppc auctions. Guess she must have at least taken on board what you said and I'm guessing she was too lazy to do her own photos for all her auctions and using many other people's copyright material.

But it turns out that she either hasn't taken it on board, or she's being bloody minded.
All her ppc auctions BUT ONE don't have images.
Which image is she using? GUESS...

Good luck if you get a human response, whenever I've used the ebay complaints section all I get is automated replies.

Um. Register with PerplexCity Trades then? It's a two minute process. Either that, or you're reliant upon posting in either the forums here, or on the main PxC website....

Hooray! I got my first silver to swap. Hopefully now I'll be able to get some of the one's I'm missing...
I worked out I've now bought 62 packs of cards (the 2 comes from the 5-for-4 offer at the start of wave 2) and have got 7 silvers in total. That works out about 1 in every 9 packs. If I don't start getting them more frequently, this game could drive me to bankruptcy. It also works out that I have 255 swaps now, so if someone wants to do a swap of a silver for lots of cards, I'm very happy to do that.
Check out the link in my sig!!!

I had 8 packs delivered yesterday, and got 3 silvers (2x Differently Lethal and 1x Polar) but only 1 black. How messed up is that?

I did some analysis of packs here:

with the interesting bit here:

More importantly I found this: For the Reds to Greens there was little difference between the packs, however than it changes...
Out of the 14 Screw packs, there were 14 Blues, no Purples, 4 Blacks and no Silvers.
However the 14 Cup packs had no Blues, 14 Purples, 2 Blacks, and 2 Silvers

I would strongly suggest using the PerplexCityTrades site if you can. It helps the community swap cards (I believe the protocol is on a points basis) and saves everyone having to spend cash.
When the next wave comes out it is likely that more of the exotic cards will become available for swaps.
If, like me, you can't wait there's a guy called Jaffamanuk on ebay. I think he may also have an online shop.

Nobody has said anything here in quite awhile, but I felt like posting my recent Silver-hunting exploits.
Is it just me, or are Silvers slowly disappearing from eBay? It might be just a lull, I suppose.
I've purchased two Silvers from eBay (Shuffled and The Thirteenth Labour, of all cards), one for $18 and another for about $17, shipping included. The key for US buyers is finding a US seller to keep shipping costs down, but they are hard to come by. Buying 4 packs at $20 in the hopes that you'll get a Silver doesn't seem worth it, especially if you buy from Insound. They have packs that include Wave 3 cards now, but I never seem to get any Silvers from them. The odds seem a lot better with Firebox. I stay away from Think Geek because they never ship for anything less than $7.
Until I can find more good deals on eBay, I'll stick with buying cards from Firebox when my budget allows for it. Though logically it probably isn't worth it, I like the thrill of unopened packs and the idea of higher-level extras to use for trading in this and the next wave.
