Which video was the Every story is a western actually in?

It wasn't in a video - it was on Lucky's page.

We have a few discussions about whether the Matrix was a western - as Lucky implies

And it is also, down to the very cut of his coat, the story of that movie with the fella that ends up dodging bullets in slow motion.

Actually, it is both:

The Video

and

Text on the Wiki

They don't exactly match, but the gist is the same.

for shad0

Quote:
It had been calm ever since they had both gone out to look at Victor's memorial after the rain. The memorial had been gone, only the flowers left. The cat had sauntered up the path, tail in the air and wound itself around her ankles. She should have been upset that the memorial was gone but she felt okay. Pleased even, in a distant sort of way. As if Victor had picked it up himself.

And one of the best lines ever:
Quote:
"Destiny? Destiny? Goddamn it Kerry, I'm a transsexual! I don't believe in destiny! ...

both from
~Corazon Suarez "Mother Loves a Problem Child"

(could this game be any cooler? shad0-we did the right thing)

from Don McPherson

Dear Ms. Brown,

The difference between you and me is that I *will* kill your family.

email to Lucy from Don. Re:Family Matters

Why is this good writing? Despite my love of the beauty of the lyrical writing, this one -short, sweet, direct and so perfect for the character -gets a thumbs up as well.

The only difference that I see is that you are exactly the same as you used to be.

(think Don likes music? If so what kind?)

Re: for shad0

Don't forget that Corazon also called Kerry "dumb as a sack of hammers." Have I mentioned recently that I love these people?

(either that or they just didn't want us to feel bad about it)

I haven't posted anything into this thread before because I'd pretty much have to copy-and-paste the whole damn ARG. One thing I'm particularly enjoying is how often people -- besides Lucky, of course -- muse about the dead. Frank Grouard in A good Indian, who "does not believe the dead care what happens to them." Contrast with Lucy in The golden hour: "Concentrate on the living. But don't forget the dead. There was nothing left of Lisa now but a headstone and memories: grieving parents and a boyfriend and a sister… And Lucy. Lucy owed it to her to remember." Or Ambrose Bierce in Hot jazz in the sack: "I hear the dead have a tolerable need to be remembered and avenged." Way to get the message across, folks.
