Oh. Right. Heh. Not too sinister then... I thought she might have had some actual reason for that threat to steal the thing.
What can it mean? Does 'thing' refer to the cube? And who is 'she'? And did she actually steal the cube, or just threaten to?
Frankie

Note that the date on the 'leaked' bit of the e-mail is really old...

No, I think Mr Chest-full-of-medals has more important things to be doing than hanging out with us.

They're poor spellers, these Perplexians. It's "Tonight". Maybe Tippy needs to give her mind a jump-start instead of just lounging 'round the office all day

I think the spelling makes it more personal, as in they are arranging a night out. I'm trying to find any records of anything happening on the 7 -10 Oct
Worth a shot!

Hmm, so it looks like we're all being 'leaked' different e-mails?
Maybe if we piece them together we'll get a useful conversation?

I'd like to talk to you about what's going on with the search for the Cube, or let you know the latest gossip about things going on at Academy - I swear, Tippy's going to find herself in a newspaper, what with all the stuff she's been getting up to. But no. I can't tell you that. Not because I don't know, but because I'm too tired.
Quoted from the last update to "The Path of Least Time" (Kurt's blog) - Tippy's been out on the sauce perhaps, who knows what hi-jinks and shennanigans transpired?

Anyone else having flashbacks to the Firebox 100 puzzle? How in the world are we going to collect all these leaked emails when probably half of these emails are going to be deleted after being skimmed.
I hope there are lots of duplicates, and I hope that Unfiction users end up with all of them.
Don't get me wrong, these collaborative puzzles are cool, but they're also quite frustrating when not everyone playing posts or notices.

Could yer put the set you solved with the post? Im guessing that each set has a different email, rather than every set solve having one
