No. The answer to one is in your statement above. You need to find the names of the things you are looking for. You are on the right track with 11-12, now find a name for it.

the eggs everyone is talking about are the steps you need to do in order to solve the level, u find them by figuring out what each set of lines mean in the poem. and u need to keep in mind that whole level is about encryption so the clues are all different ciphers. when u think u have one put it in the url and if u get a page with the line numbers in the title then u got it right.

Re: 11

Ok, so 8 bits is a byte. Where does that put me? I have tried byte.htm with no luck. When you say the answer to one, do you mean the 1-2 clue, or just that I had one right?

Also, I have made some more progress I think. I found that frogs tend anagrams to Fred Longs. Then the next clue is about a victim. Found a news article about a Fred Long (coach) that sexually harrassed a cheerleader. Completely wrong direction?

Yes the answer to #1 is in your statement and boy are you getting way off base. Read akirator's post above. Name the processes.

Hmm...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ok, so out of complete random choosing of words I typed in Ceasar and got a clue for lines 7-8.

Or maybe not...they all say the same thing.[/spoiler

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So I am guess that those are the types of ciphers that were used in each of the pairs of lines...and thus that is what I need to solve each line.

Still not sure what I said about 1 though.

Well, I think I might have it. Have 2 out of 6 so far. Lines 7/8 and 9/10. If I am guessing correctly. I use all the ciphers I find in the order they are on the poem to break the sign language code?

Although I have no idea what the cipher types have to do with the pairs of lines. I just randomly picked two that I found on Wikipedia.

Nope

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Thought I had it but completely lost again. For some odd reason, the two that I randomly guess seem to have something to do with the 2 lines that were on the page they brought me to.

You are on the right track Vp but could you go back and edit your posts? Make them spoilers? It just seems a shame to give away info to people who might just be looking for nudges.

Very Happy Thanks Coel. That's so nice of you. Coel got me through the last half (the hardest part) of #11.

I hate #12 too.

VprDmnd: please don't double (or triple or quadruple) post, that's what the 'Edit' button in the top right of every post you make is for. (For those of us who get an RSS feed of recent posts, having those extra posts is a hassle.

Thanks.

I can't seem to make any headway whatsoever with 11.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I gather from the other posts here each pair of lines in the poem hints at a type of cipher, and we're supposed to put the name of that cipher in the url. I've tried every cipher I've heard of, and every type of cipher I could find in the wikipedia. The only page I've evern gotten is the "Do you think I'm going to just GIVE you the answer?" page, which I got for several of them, like caesar and substitution. So either the ciphers it wants are REALLY obscure, or I'm doing something wrong.
