So now we just have to find out how the jpg is steged and a password.

what about "twisted evil" for the password (at least for this jpg)
i saw a block with those two words for a brief moment when i first reloaded
the qu13e.com page yesterday--

thank you, puppy, the daily source countdown has had us baffled--

No actually I can't. It's less gibbarish and more not in english weird characters.

Edit: Ok after playing with it some more i don't think it's camo'd.
It seems like the password finder just gives you a nonsenseical responce if not camo'd.
But while messing with stegdetect I found it's been steged using jphide.
Thats if I'm using stegdetect right, I'm not sure about that.

Yea, i see what you mean about the jibberish.

I tried destegging the last couple of pics with jphide guessing a bunch of different passwords and i never got anything, but i'll mess around with this one.

Could you try running stegdetect on the older pictures, just to see if they're stegged as well?

Vandino, I can't check the other .jpgs because i don't have them.

Also the source has now changed back to,
<!-- QU13E (c) 2005. All rights reserved. -->
But we know what we have to do now anyway.
I just can't seem to find the right password.

Here are the three images that i have saved thus far.

I'd check 'em myself if i knew how to install stegdetect on my comp.

And i just tried to desteg the new pic using jphide using a couple different passwords, and i haven't gotten anything so far. I'm gonna work on those greek symbols for now.

Thanks Vandino but it dosn't look like any of those are steged.
If you want to install stegdetect go HERE and download version 0.4-windows bianary (assuming your using windows) and use xsteg.exe.

My 'prediction' (educated guess) for the next countdown numbers (if any):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
These or HTML codes of them:
<!-- +1 --> blast, +- could have seen that one comming. New input.
<!-- + --> or <!-- =GO --> or <!-- /\= -->
<!-- 9 -->
<!-- /\ -->
<!-- 7-->
<!-- 6 -->
<!-- GO -->
<!-- 4 -->
<!-- 3 -->
<!-- = -->
<!-- - -->
<!-- -->

Could be completely off. But I think I have a good shot at at least some of them. Wink

New input on the numbers: [-] can be read as [1] so <!-- 2453705.45325-23 --> and <!-- 334-22 --> could be 2453705.45325123 and 334122 dunno if [.] will prove to become a digit too.

Countdown wise, the source currently says
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
<!-- +- -->

Also, for those of you trying to desteg, has anyone tried
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
QlU13E
Delusional696 had mentioned that appearing when the pic was opened in wordpad.
One more thing: I tried emailing The Keeper of Things, but it bounced back.

Edited 2nd spoiler.
