Hello everyone. I've been lurking for a while, I'm new to all of this but I think I have something.
It's about what Puppy_Zwolle said,
Quote:
New input on the numbers: [-] can be read as [1] so <!-- 2453705.45325-23 --> and <!-- 334-22 --> could be 2453705.45325123 and 334122 dunno if [.] will prove to become a digit too.
I often Google dates for research as Wiki's always top.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
November 30 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
November 30 is the 334th day (335th on leap years) of the year in the Gregorian calendar
It's not much, but I'm still looking!

interesting point because if you continue to countdown with our source code the day we land of "0" will be November 29--
but all our "QLU13Es" point to November 30th-- so November 29th is actually November 30th on qu13e's calendar.. hmmm. maybe?
oh and Maria, "Welcome...or not...back to splinterworld"

As much as I hate being wrong, I love getting a better answer. Great find. Not bad for a 1st post.

Firstly, thanks labfly and puppy! I was so scared to say anything.
Secondly, after Googling a bit (all day) I discovered this http://sp.cis.iwate-u.ac.jp/sp/lesson/j/doc/numbers.html .
It fits, look at 1, 2, 5, 8 and 10, I believe we've got something.
Yes? No?
I've suddenly become addicted. Wecome back or not!
More coffee!

The pic has changed. I think it is lighter so we can see the "hidden" text better. Although I'm still having a hard time making it out, the problem is the more you zoom in the harder it is to see.
I wasn't even sure if it had changed till I took a look at the source.
The comments section now says

"Beware numbers. Count onlies."
I still have no idea what to do.
But I get the feeling the pass to desteg this is in that code.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the jphide password for qu13egins.jpg is 13 . I set the file extension as .jpg and got an image, and in the properties it says this:
Title: WXH
Author: Clockstop the Whys
Keywords: WXH
Comments: She will ask for a number...this one is mine.
I'll post the image too. not quite sure what it's supposed to be, but just the fact that i finally got it destegged has me pretty amped right now.

Nice job Vandino.
But that kinda pisses me off. I know I tried 13 before and it didn't work, but just in case I only thought I had, I tried it agian, still nothing. I had to re download it to finally get it to work. Oh well i'm just glad we are finally done with that.

yeah, i'm glad to have that outta the way too. I'm assuming that WXH and "she" are the same person. maybe the answer's in the greek symbols in the original pic. I'm still trying to decipher those, but it's hard to make out some of the symbols.

Wow, a lot sure happens after just one day.
Hooray Vandino!
Is it only me? I seem to see all (most) the letters of "Clockstop the Whys".

I'm guessing another face, or maybe a signature?
