[UPDATE] Orbicon.com hacked http://www.orbiconcorp.com/ has been hacked by a group calling its self C.A.R.T.S (see this thread for discussion about their site )
front page has this text:
Quote:
You have reached the Orbicon Corporation web site, home of those building a brighter glow-in-the-dark green future for our kids.
Earth is being taken advantage of, being pillaged and degraded by socialistic fat cats. Dude leave the world the hell alone or we're gonna end up all Mad Max or worse looking like something out of a 1932 Tod Browning film. Orbicon calls itself "The family of the future", you know who else called themselves that? The Nazis. This company has no respect of forethought on how their technology could adversely affect our little blue ball of dirt, only got eyes for the positives. If Rutherford knew what he was doing in his shed would spell the death of thousands of Japanese just going about their lives he probably would have turned to the other guy in the lab and gone "WHOA I'm keeping this to my self mate, now lets go to the pub and grab a pint" and life would be sweet, Sure the US might have lost the war but we wouldn't have to fear nukes. So just leave our little ball of life alone, we've messed it up enough as is.
some changes:
Logo changed from "orbicon" to "orbi-kill"
recent news, on front page:
arrived safely link changed to "Beware the might of orbicon"
Evil Bronco, hacked cover of Time
Privacy Policy hacked
on the frontpage the foyer.jpg changed to a picture of godzilla
Description

I love how the new space elevator picture has the face of the guy from the Twin Towers Observation Deck photo hoax .

The child's voice sounds like it might be in Japanese, maybe Korean or another Asian language. It matches the syllabic structure of the languages I'm familiar with. Could also be something in reverse. I'll toy around with it in Sound Recorder and my various dictionaries.
Something of note, however... Should that skill in the privacy policy really have that large of a file size? ~_^
Tempted to toss another e-mail to the tech department of Orbicon or one of the active characters expressing my "sympathy for this wretched act of ecoinfoterrorism."

Downloaded and ran JPhide... sorrry, it was a false positive. Got a little overexcited.

I don't think it sounds like Korean. I've played it over and over but I'm just not hearing it. (And I -am- Korean ) *shrugs*
More likely to be Japanese I suppose, though I'm less familiar with that language...

I agree that it doesn't sound like Korean. Even though people change the tone of their syllables to express a point, flucuations in tones like in the .wav usually indicate Chinese. Who knows if it's even a southeast asian language, though. Didn't get anything played backward either. *shrug*

Eh, I was throwing out possibilities. Most of the Korean I've been exposed to was from a professor of mine who would always slip into it while she was lecturing, but after thinking about it I agree if it were another language, it might be closer to Japanese. But...
A theory was thrown out that it might just be really slurred kid-english.

I don't think it's Japanese, if it was it would be something like "Idobaido" wich I don't think is anything. If it is somethin in an Asiatic language I'd say Chinese.
Has anyone tried slowing down the file? It kinda sounded like it had a chipmunk effect to it.
Who want's to bet it's actually English?

I ran stegdetect on it and it came up negative. Of course, that could be an error with stegdetect (I hear some sayu it isnt fully reliable) but I dont think so. As for destegging it... even if it IS stegged, I dont have a password.

I've been playing with the recording of the girl... slowed it down to hear it better, as a "man sounding voice" hehe
she might be saying: ink yow watow
my little cousin can't say words with R's in them, he switches it to a W.
ink yow watow = Drink your water
it kinda sounds like the beginning was cut off...
anyway, I could be way off because honestly... "Drink your water" doesn't really help much...
thought I'd toss that out there...
Also, I was wondering about the top jpg (with the elevator thingy) it used to have earth at the right, is it supposed to be a Toxic Earth now or Mars?

If you slow it down just enough to hear a clear "Inko waido" (no idea what that could mean) - the voice is very alien-like.

Maybe it's silly, but the first thing I really thought was that it was a (very) young kid trying to say "Igor Bronco", which is a rather tough name to say for youngsters...
