[UPDATE] Scarlet Kite - 18th November - Wave 2

Good news! Mind Candy says that Wave 2 cards will be available for sale next week!

Mind Candy says they've mixed together some cards from Wave 1 along with the new ones, so that new players still have a shot at getting a whole collection. But they said that some of you probably mainly want Wave 2, as you have nearly all of the Wave 1 cards already!

So to reward all of you who have been with us from the beginning, they've decided to do a special offer from Firebox. They'll be sending out five packs per each order for four packs, which should mean you'll mostly get Wave 2 cards. It will only be in effect for 48 hours, and they're not sure yet when it'll start, but I'll let you know as soon as I hear -- keep checking back so you don't miss it!

What's with the early time stamp on this one? But hey, wave 2!

Excellent! Am pleasantly surprised as Firebox emailed me just this morning to say they still didn't know when they'd be in.

And presumably they'll do the same for Wave 3. I think I will have a lot of duplicates by the end of this!

And the duplicates pile will rise higher and higher.

Well let's hope that the Wave 1 cards being mixed in with the Wave 2 packs will be mostly silvers and blacks...

Wahey! Finally! Right gonna be keeping an eye on Firebox!
I'm guessing by the fact that wave 1 will be mixed in that there will be only 1 option on the firebox page and won't accidently be sent more wave 1 only packs?

So it looks like they changed their mind and mixed them together after all. At least they're trying to skew it towards wave 2 cards (and hey, since I don't have all of wave 1 yet the extra pack of cards thing is cool).

Might be ok as some of us newbies can take your wave 1 dupes off your hands in exchange for our wave 2 dupes.
I still have a lot to collect....

I'm in the same situation as you, I've not got many cards yet.

Heres an idea tht could benifit all of us maybe! Anyone with wave one cards interested in making custom bundles of their duplicates for a reasonable price?
This way you get more cash to purchase wave 2 cards and we get some of the cards tht we need to catch up on the points table!

I have a complete set of orange and a complete set of green I'm willing to sell - have tried to arrange this with a couple of people before though, and they've just not replied even though they approached me Sad

Just to be picky here but wouldn't this be officially Wave 1? Seeing as the last was 0.5 pre-release?

As I said just being picky Very Happy
