New to this forum... Also my first time involved in an ARG, and I must say... "Arg!"

Anyways, some thoughts on the file cabinet gif.

First of all, the image may look grayscale at first, but when you zoom in on it, you notice definite color (Indexed Color). See the attached 00001001zoom.jpg for a tiny excerpt of the GIF.

Many other people noticed that the "black" area in the GIF was not completely black after all, and had a lot of single pixel red dots scattered around. I have two images which show these dots. In one, I just changed the color of the red dots to white, to show them in higher contrast to the black bg (00001001reddots.gif), and in the other, I extracted all the dots, placed them on a white-ish background by itself, and made them bigger (you can probably disregard most of the dots that are part of the file cabinet). Does anyone see a pattern in the dots at all? It almost looks like scrawled text to me, like graffiti, but I can't be sure of what it says...

Of course, I'm probably just WAY overanalyzing this, but it's fun anyways... Wink

It seems more that they put the file cabient on the black screen with dot that could be star or a grafiti...

I still believe it's star. Wich part of it i don't know... It can be from the south part of the earth. Maybe it's something else.

Let's keep things clean guys, this thread is already huge and we don't know how to make it simpler..

This is not the right place to discuss anything other than the Carelessly.* files. If you want to discuss the paintover update please use this thread in puzzles

Take a look at the structure of the threads here in Unfiction, and you can see that we are trying to categorize things into simple threads, although sometimes things get out of hand.. appreciate your support by only discussing the carelessly files in this thread.. also try to keep speculation to a minum and discuss it in chat instead of posting one liners.
