After retrieving the Zero Hour T-shirts, our first encounter was with Team Boise. If you don't know them, and you're a gamer, you ought to be ashamed. These guys cracked the I Love Bees contest, the Hex 168 contest, and, most recently, the Last Call Poker contest for the game GUN™. (Their Hex vid is called Trash Can Spartan.)

I watched these guys play for a while. I think they have a sixth sense or something. It's spooky. One of the team, LT Madcom, did a 60-hour stint on Xbox Live® without sleeping. Sweet!

I got to talk to Mad Cow after the Last Call Poker LA graveyard event last weekend. He was really excited to be out in LA, not only for the xbox thing, but also for the graveyard games. The last time I saw him was last year at the SF training event and he was wearing his crazy Master Chief helmet. He said he used the same helmet in their video that won them the trip the the Zero-Hour event.

Looks like he had an awesome time!

From the illustrious and sparkly Jane M., there's a show on MTV about Hex168 - http://avantgame.blogspot.com/2005/11/burning-man-meet-e3.html

And yes, MadCow is just that good. I stopped playing against him in Halo a long time ago.
