Cards are on sale now;
"Wave 2" cards shipping!
The second wave of 66 cards are now available from Firebox. Orders will contain a random mix of Wave 1 and Wave 2 packs.
(Maths fans: There is a far higher chance of getting Wave 2 packs in your order as they outnumber Wave 1 packs by 3:1)

So that sounds like there aren't actually any wave 1 cards in the wave 2 packs? So why do they have to send them out mixed? Surely they could stock 3 products or something, like 4pk Wave 1 cards, 4pk Wave 2 cards and maybe a random Wave 1/Wave 2 selection. Most strange. Well not strange, it sounds like a very poor attempt to get current players to buy things they don't want
I almost bought some, but I realised it didn't say anything on the Firebox site about the 5 for 4 offer. On the scarlett kite it says they will 'let us know' when that starts, so I suppose I better hold off for now.
I wonder if we go into any of the shop stockists we will be able to buy the cards seperately!

I just ordered some anyway, assuming that the offer will be valid from the start. If it only comes in at a later date, I will be v. annoyed.
Mind you, I did still have a 5.00 off voucher from a firebox catalogue...

FYI for people ordering internationally - I just tried to put an order through to be shipped to Denmark, and the website came up with ridiculous shipping charges. According to customer services, there's a glitch because they've just added Wave 2 to the system and things should be back to normal in 10-15 minutes.

and the chap on who I just spoke to from firebox knows nothing of the 5 for 4 offer.
EDIT: He called me back-they will be running it 'in the future' but doesn't know when it starts.

Anybody from the UK getting a £3.95 shipping charge? I thought it used to be £1.95...

I think it must be the same problem I'm having. (Last month, shipping to DK cost £2.95 - today they're trying to charge me £15.) Apparently the system isn't recognizing that PXC cards are small enough to fit in an envelope.

Firebox have a mirror-type-thing with CD-WOW, and at present CD-WOW do not charge P&P on their deliveries.
So, by using http://cdwow.firebox.com/index.html?dir=firebox&action=product&pid=1082 theoritically we should be getting free P&P.

Nope, cause it goies to a Payment page for Firebox which adds shipping.
Also, the website is giving £1.95 shipping, the confirmation emails still say £3,95 shipping. Just a warning, I've contacted Firebox to find out more.

I just ordered some, I don't care that much about the price, so I will live with it.
I'm having one of my incredibly lucky days today, first the new cards come out, then I get my £30 from college even though I didn't attend a single class this week and now, even after getting mario kart ds on friday, I will still have £18 left for when the toy and computer shop gets the cards in, so overall, yaaaaaaaaaaay
btw if anyone else gets mkds please p.m. me your friend codes so I can get whooped all the way to perplex city by many many super intelligent beings.
thanx

Just happened to me too (website said £2.95, email said £15), so I called customer service and they're refunding my card.

Thanks for the email. Your right, we are doing the special offer but it
hasn't been released yet. The offer will only be for a very short period
of time so you'll need to keep an eye on our website and check for
updates so you can get in quick smart.
Hope this helps!
Official word back from Firebox re the "five packs for the price of four" offer
