I've also refunded you another £2.00.
today will end soon. I'm sure of it!

Anybody from the UK getting a £3.95 shipping charge? I thought it used to be £1.95...
Yes, me too (at 4pm, so i think the ghost of the coder must still be at work)

Cards are on sale now;
"Wave 2" cards shipping!
The second wave of 66 cards are now available from Firebox. Orders will contain a random mix of Wave 1 and Wave 2 packs.
(Maths fans: There is a far higher chance of getting Wave 2 packs in your order as they outnumber Wave 1 packs by 3:1)
Surely this is going to mean it is more sensible to wait for local shops to stock the wave 2 cards? I will be really gutted if i get 4 packs of wave 1 in my Firebox order

I got the extra postage charge refunded too (and I didn't even notice it when placing the order).
Bit annoyed that the offer doesn't come into play straight away but oh well, will just have to buy some more cards when it does...
Frankie
BTW, the cards are being sent to my work address but i'm off for the next couple of days so I won't be able to post them up til Monday.

I'm guessing the reason they are including the Wave 1 cards is to get rid of the remaining ones. I'm actually happy for the Wave 1 cards as well because there are quite a few Wave 1 cards I don't have, I just hope it doesn't get messed up for me and I end up with 10 Wave 1 packs when i order 2 sets when the 5 for 4 offer is on.

Will the 3:1 ratio be for all the packs or just those sold via firebox and how long will this last for?

At a guess I'd say just firebox and until the sell out of first wave, I don't know though obviously.

I wonder if the wave 2 packs will look different from the outside, for in-person purchasing purposes.

Just took a closer look at the wave 1 packaging and it doesn't mention anywhere that it's wave 1. Also, they'd want it to be a 'lucky-dip' so I doubt the packaging for wave 2 will be different.

I think there is some confusion here, well, I'm confused lol.
The 3:1 ratio.
Does that mean out of every set of 4/5 packs 3:1 packs will contain Wave 2 cards or is it that within every pack each card has a 3:1 ratio of being a wave 2??

Its definitely a mix of packs not cards in the packs (so by the sound of it in every order you should get 1 wave 1 and 3 wave 2 (although not always, could get 4 wave 1 or 4 wave 2 or 2 and 2).

The wave 1 packaging uses a few of the images from the Perplex City front page (or, at least, the former front page--they don't seem to have that splash page any more), but there are a number of pictures that were used on the site, but not on the packaging. It could be that the wave 2 cards have different sets of pictures--subtle enough if you know to look, but not explicitly stated anywhere. It could also be that they use the same packaging for everything, in which case you have no idea what is inside.

We've already ordered our pack of wave 2 cards... didn't the people who got in early for wave 1 get special signed cards, postcards, city guides etc... what if they are encouraging everyone to wait for the special offer whilst the people who order now get some kind of perk??? Or the other way around... (am I making sense?) I'm not all for just handing my hard earned cash to firebox, but I'd hate to miss out... xhx & xbx

Just noticed the images on the front, you're probably right, in which case the packaging for the cards will be as collectable as the cards, in a slightly warped and not so rare kind of way.

tbh if they're gonna be doing something like this I'd have thought they'd have mentioned it.
