You'll get it eventually Krystyn. Smile

I've already weighed in on the game in general here. Though I didn't finish the game that night... My wavebird ran out of juice as I was fighting Hollister and I took a while getting new AAs for it.

Thank you Thunderclap for your advise on killing MacGruter. I literally finished him off with a sliver of health left.

As much as I like the game as a whole, I really have to take issue with that final boss battle.

I understand the desire to mix up the game play; you want to keep things interesting and challenging. However, NO WHERE ELSE in the entire game was there

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
environmental damage

You either figured it out by accident, or you didn't understand how the damage was being done, or you were told how to do it by somebody who figured it out by accident.

What should have been a satisfying end to a bad bad man was a hair pulling two day ordeal until ThunderClap8 took pity on me. (Even gamefaqs.com has it wrong.)

As soon as he told me a light bulb went off and I said "that's why he's getting hurt!"

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Because his own sticks will set it off as well if they land right and he walks into it.

Perhaps a short cut scene the first time it happens to illastrate the point would have been helpfull?

Throw us a bone here! Need the "info". Kay?

That being said, some other things I liked...
1. Cole's "costume changes". I like how he went from "mountain man apprentice, I kinda look like Clint Eastwood in Pale Rider", to "I'm a revolutionary", to "I've gone native", to "Full Buckskin with sassy fringe, I'm prettier then Clint Eastwood". The only way that would have been better is if I could change between them.

2. I like how they open up the map once the game is done. And even give you Reed's horse to ride around on. To bad they wait to give it to you when you no longer need it, and the only thing to do on the open map is find and kill bandits.

3. Soapy has a gun and shoots it on occasion... Who'da thunk it? (Poor Soap, hope he's left handed.)

4. Every so often, if you were walking or sneaking around you would overhear conversations. I hung out for like a full 5 min while trying to gather horses for Port, Soapy, and I to escape Empire with because I wanted to hear about the Crazy rancher, his wife, and their half-wit son. Soapy's explanation about how he got is nickname was nothing if not amusing and disgusting... TMI Soap... TMI.

Word of advice...
If you're going to release screenshots of your Western shooter, you may want to put out something that seems more exciting then this.

Played it for my first time at the Zero Hour event ... with Jane and Kiyash(sp?) Cool

It was probably one of the lowest games there on the ooooohh, pretty graphics scale, but that's to be expected as it was a multi-platform launch and not made specifically for the 360.

The gameplay was well done. Good camera control, good game control, easy to understand objectives, etc.

The story already snagged me after the first level.

I'll probably be picking this one up for myself soon, if not renting it (just because there's no multiplayer after the single player mission).
