Full details can be found here.

Spend over £100 at Firebox and you can claim (be sure to add it to your order on the shopping cart page) the PerplexCity starter pack. It's got the following included:-
Quote:

Issue zero of Perplex magazine:
It's filled with puzzles and information about the world of Perplex City. Dying to know what Tippy's favourite card is? Want to know a little more about the Cube? Or are you just starting out and you need a quick crash course on what's going on? It's all in here.

A limited-edition Leitmark:
In Perplex City, these small, square pins are given out as signs of achievement. Wear this on your clothing to show other players you're in the game, and you may just find you're suddenly meeting new friends everywhere - a surprisingly handy conversation starter at parties as well.
(These are the "Lost" in reverse leitmarks, seen recently at the Clapham extravaganza)

A ten-track CD:
Created by the reclusive Perplexian musician, Viard, this album was banned from sale in Perplex City after it was alleged that the music was driving people mad. You'll need to listen very carefully to judge for yourself...

A 260-space plastic wallet:
The pages are designed specifically to fit Perplex City puzzle cards and keep them in mint condition. It's just like the Panini Football album of old - except that it's made of plastic and doesn't contain any amusingly coiffured footballers.

A Perplex City tourist guide
A mini guide created by the tourist office advising you on the best way to spend 24 hours in the City.

Four packs of Perplex City puzzle cards
These enigmatic cards have a stunning array of puzzles -- from mind-bending mazes to devilish codes to crack. On the reverse side of each card is a piece of the map of Perplex City.

So there you have it, it is apparently "worth £19.95", and the piece makes mention that they "aren't even available to buy yet!", so we might be seeing these as a standalone for purchase, but no news on when/if that will be. Might be as good an excuse as any for combining the Scarlett "5 packs for 4" offer that goes live in about four and a half hours and some other Xmas shopping on Firebox.

...and if you're really struggling to come up with enough items to go into your trolley to make it up to £100, I'm sure that I can offer some advice, and my address for delivery...

*goes and finds the play songs backwards button*

Ill fall asleep with it on and see what I wake up saying

Well as much as I'd love to just completely blow £100 of my hard-earned cash on firebox, the phrase 'BOXING DAY SALE' sounds far more attractive....I sure hope that they sell this starter pack seperately!!

I'm all tooled up and ready for some hardcore de-stegging of Viard's album....bring it on!! Twisted Evil

This free starter pack offer is a great way to expand the player base, hopefully some of the newbies will end up here...

How can they DO this to us in other countries? Crying or Very sad I must have it! I must have it ALL!!!!!!! Flaming Nutter

Ahem.

Laughing

I'm hoping, hoping, hoping they'll either extend the offer to include places across the pond, or it'll become one of their regular items for purchase and shipping world-wide.

That price is a little too rich for my blood! I guess I'll just have to wait until it's available to buy, and to the US. Hmm... I *suggested* an album *just like this one*, way back when the cards were first released, hoping to *win* a gift voucher, but I was never contacted! Crying or Very sad

Some ppl on the Perplex forum think it might be an error regarding the US postage price.

And £100 order just to get the starter pack is way too much. Or is this a wave two thingey and they might consider selling some starter packs. Knowing my luck I've got a snowballs chance.

I spoke to them about it and they 'assume' it will be sold seperately in future-probably before christmas. Frankly they would be silly not to-and they certainly wouldn't go to the trouble of producing a magazine/card holder without making them more wildle available than this. They're just encouraging you to buy a few christmas presents with Firebix.
