Just played this track to my friend and hes pointed out that theres something after the message, we think its morse code. but its really quiet and kinda tricky to work out.
Does anyone know of a decoding program that could help work out what its trying to tell us??

You might try this:
1) Download Audacity , a free Open Source sound editor
2) Load the sound file into the editor (assuming you've ripped the CD)
3) Highlight the bit at the end
4) Use "Trim" from the Edit menu, which deletes everything but what you have highlighted
5) One of the menus (Filters? Effects?) should have a function for normalizing the sound. This will make it as loud as possible without clipping.
You won't get automatic results, but you should be able to hear the morse code more clearly, giving you a better chance at manually determining what it says.

It definatly says
Quote:
I can't tell you who I am, they'd kill me if they find out how much I know. You know who they are. Follows something that u need to know. A detective here in pc Helena Frye is an agent of the third power. The third power stole the cube. They killed people. Who knows what their capable of. If your sensible just stay away, but if u want to help us, if you want to find the cube wait for the ceramony of the kindling of the flame, exactly 7 days after that send someone to the abandoned subway station on Gilin road at 10pm. You'll find out enough to prove that Helena is a spy

OMG!!! Ring any bells?

'The lighting of way'??? Probably not the 'kindling of the flame'. Sounds very pagan though.

Considering how all of the police cases relevent to the Cube hunt seemed to get swept under the carpet, the revelation about Helena Frye being part of 3P is not that surprising. However, there's currently nothing I am aware of that would link Frye to the mysterious character of 'V'...

The Brotherhood's web site says that this happens at the Autumnal Equinox which was, this year, on the 22nd of the 9th. So either the Perplex City equinox falls on a different date or there is no connection.

I agree, I think the next job is to find out where Gillin Rd is (I assume PPC) and who we can arrange to go

Just to say that it definitely is Helena Frye, I was about to post myself when kksweety beat me to it. I'm trying to work out how to use Audacity, and I'm sure one of us will manage to post a clip.
As much as I would like it to be in Thornton Heath (I live near there half the year), I really don't think there's a tube station anywhere near there. The nearest tube line is the end of the Northern, but it really is nowhere near. The train line it's next to is entirely overground. I'm not saying it's not worth checking out (if today was a week later, I'd probably already be there myself) but we should look for other options as well as other spellings.
The album is quite relaxing in its way, and I'm not mad yet. Or at least no more than when I started listening.

I was on at 10 this morning, EST.
It's now 4:30, and all this happens?!
Wow.
Anyway, I'm with Ollie; best not ruffle any feathers; the rest of us can snag the MP3 soon enough, like Hesh Records said. Of course, the ensuing inter-universe lawsuits would be interesting, to say the least.
I trust the current analysis, and have Audacity ready at the gate (although owned previously for other reasons) for when my turn comes.
But, I am deadly curious about the musical merits.
Can't wait!

Has anyone e-mailed our contacts in Perplex City (Violet would be my first point of call) to see if they know of the subway station? (Also, it's just occured to me that the station is refered to as a 'subway' station and not an underground station, which could rule out London?

I really can't imagine there would be any problems over sharing a short clip containing the message and all the ambient noise either before or after (there's plenty of silence after as well, but that's irrelevant). So here it is. If any mod people/MC employees don't want it here, then it will vanish into thin air - I hold with Scott's argument that it is reasonable use, although not with European Chris, hence you won't be getting the whole album from me.
There is definitely something after the message, but I haven't listened very closely yet to determine a pattern.
