Rock On Found it!!!! Rock On
almost invisible text on page 66. in the middle after "Freedom?"
Did some cleanup. I think it reads "On The Beach You Must Swim"

But now what?
You swim in sea. Sunbathing you do on a beach.

Perhaps remove the errors from it?

"On the beach you must swim"

becomes

"On (the b) each you must (s)wim"

Problem is, that 's' is odd, as it doesn't really help.

yay, puppy-- great find! the beach and swimming fit in nicely with
that "submerged object" symbol from long ago on dr. munchen's
doodle page.

I sudenly understand how you got those 1500 something posts Smile

But who knows...... maybe it is a code to 'trigger' a responce in a serverdweller. Just weave it into the conversation next time 'they' contact one of us.

Sorry Pup, but those posts are the result of my being here for over 3 years and particpating in my share of games. Wink

The sentence "On The Beach You Must Swim" makes absolutely no sense to me, neither in it's location nor in the context of what we know thus far. It has to be "code" for something. I'm trying to make sense of it but getting nowhere, "combine" is in there...."section" is in there"....

/and emus flying at midnight with red umbrellas is just as plausible as the next theory Wink

Remembe that munchen told us that he was walking on the beach, but no matter how far he'd walk he'd come back into the server?

Maybe next time we talk to HIM we need to tell him to go swim instead!!

Greetz,

Draghkar

Sorry that was me. I wrote it and got distracted with something and by the time I posted, I must have "timed out".

Very Happy

I've been following along but haven't posted because I didn't want to cause confusion since my name is Lisa. But...I have a couple of thoughts on the mistakes on pages 65 and 66.

Page 65, I think you've overlooked the fact that
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the word "experience" (3rd line from the bottom) is missing an "e".
Also, on page 66, the word "anothers" would make sense as
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"another" or "others", meaning that the letters that don't belong could either be "an" or "s".

I've tried cleaning up pg66 myself, and I can't see that text anywhere... Maybe I'm not doing it right, but has someone else checked Puppy's find?

Just out of curiousity

Misery, it's just to the right of "freedom?" If you magnify it, you can just barely make it out.

You can't see it in the one on the Wiki, so I re-downloaded the Pg 66 zip file, and it's definitely there.

So the question is, mis are you looking at the one on the Wiki or a copy on your system that you downloaded from menace-media? This will tell us if the one on the Wiki just lost some of its original "quality" or whether or not "On The Beach You Must Swim" was added later.

I went over the pages with a fine tooth comb when I was finally able to open the zip, but I didn't see it at that time. (ETA: Now I can't recall whether or not - when I did that - if I was using the Wiki copy or not)

I then deleted the file, so when I went to look at the pages on the Wiki and didn't see the text, I re-downloaded it....and it's there.

a couple things..

i believe that it is important for us to remember that symbol
http://www.menace-media.com/linktomypast.htm

(i don't think "the beach" refs are a weird coincidence)

remember the image/symbol was a match to a symbol used
on some nautical charts to indicate a submerged wreck or object

and as draghkar reminded us: dr. munchen was walking on the beach, but no matter how far he'd walk he'd come back into the server?
and now "beneathe" (which is another way to say submerged)

this symbol is found on the walls of the servers and i think all these clues may be leading us to a location (my spec)

also did we include the "A" instead of "I" from page 66 in the group of mistakes

I ALWAYS FELT THAT IF "A" KEPT A
DIARY THE WHOLE WORLD WOULD
