The question of ages has arived. "Gamers are adolesent teens not sure about their identity and wasting time killing everything bold enough to show its face on a screen."
Feeling old yet? Feeling like part of the gamers comunity... but thinking you are the eldest?
Don't.
Feel free and young again. Join the poll.
I'm talking demographics:
Wouldn't you like to know who you are playing with? Age wise that is.. feel like you got "just the right age"? Well pick a number and find out.
You can lie/'miscalculate' al you want about your age in the comments but try to be honest when clicking a selection.
(Did a similar Poll on a NWN-site and the Bell-curve topped at 35-40)

ANd I still play Table top RPGs too (or at least I did until the group I was with had to move game night to Thursday... Weeknights are harder when you have to work the next morning).
I know I am not nearly the oldest among those who frequent this board. That honor is reserved for the Elder of the Howard Trust.
(and if I got that reference wrong I will need to go back and re-read all his books again.)

I'm 28. so I know I'm probably right in the middle of the pack, I'm sure. But again, this community has players of all ages, but at the same time, not all of them are "gamers". I STILL feel old compared to the Halo 2 set. (I play, but I am still teh 5UX0R.)

Old compared to the Halo 2 set?
Honey, that clacking noise you hear when I capture the flag is the combination of my dentures interfering with my mic, and then the ambient noise of my walker as I do a touchdown dance in my living room.

I'm wondering why there's no 60+ option in the poll...
surely there are at least a couple of 60+ ARGers out there...

I believe Tanner is over 60, so there's at least one.

Dang. So far the most popular demographic is the 31-35 year olds!?
/me starts to make a crack about old people, then looks around nervously and shuts up.

We did this during the ILB ARG and found much the same distribution.

So are the two people who voted "10 or under" joking, or are they really just violating the TOS of this site? Note: only registered users can vote in polls, anyone 13 or under must have provided parent or guardian permission to register on this site, and I have to date only received one such request.

Oh my. If I were 10 right about now, I'd be wondering if your magical admin powers extend to viewing who voted how in these polls.
However, since I, like everyone else on the Internet, am actually a 14-year-old boy, I'm not worried.

I'm 20.. 1 of 2 which is odd. Maybe most 11-20 year olds are too busy with real life.. who knows.
Phaedra.. the offer still stands

Okay, but since everyone on the internet is either a 14-year-old hormone-crazed boy, or a 49-year-old basement-dwelling scary man, which are you?

Oh sorry about that, I was still thinking in dog years. Mayhem!
Varin, I'm a few months behind you, turn 30 in April. But I'm definitely ahead of you in grey hairs.

And as for age, I'm much younger than I used to be. Trust me on this.
