I had just got the email update, and made a topic here.. (Trouted almost instantly, hehehe)
I called the number a few times, and got the script:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(A beep and two phone tones)
Man 1: "Jamie's out. He's on his way here bringing a new man.
Man 2: "Do we really need to bring in someone else right now?"
Man 1: "Yes, we do. If this Fisher is as good as Jamie says, he can help us. And if he's not, we'll kill him."
Then there's an electronic voice that says "Do you wish to continue monitoring this channel via SMS?" I said "Yes" into the phone, and it said I would be contacted shortly.
Immediately after it disconnected, I got an SMS message that said:
"FROM: 10990
KEEP FOLLOWING
HIM.
YOU'LL END UP AS
DEEP AS HE IS.
BEWARESAMFISHER.
COM
will notify on
launch."
I saw the Penny Arcade poster said they discovered a company called "Fisher Sales" a couple more phone numbers, and an actor in the ARG?
I'm not pouring through 24 pages of crap to find this information. Has anyone found these other numbers or the company?

Here's the deal Max:
The number on a wanted poster was incorrect. All those people were calling a person not in game for about 2 days nonstop.
UBI has since changed the number to the correct one 877-SF1SHER
They found out all the same things that we found out here.
Actually through all of the research done this past weekend on those sites and this one, we uncovered everything (gif files and wavs and such) for the update on 11/07. UBI has learned from this that they cannot name files sequentially, nor put files online until they want them released. lol
Obviously, UBI is running this ARG, it's unfortunate because it's a great subject for a great ARG. Everyone suspects that updates are once a week on Mondays. I'm losing confidence in this ARG since beginners are the PMs, but we'll see and give them the benefit of the doubt.
UBI's track record is not so good, they ruined several good franchises with poor releases:
Prince of Persia and Rainbow Six to name a few. We'll see about SC4, In actuality, the SC franchise is the only good franchise left. We'll have to see if they do well with an ARG. My opinion is they thought it would be cool, but didn't release how many resources are available to us.

more phone numbers
I've just been browsing the site and at the bottom of the Armed Bank Robbery Suspect poster there is another phone number.
This one is for the Federal Bureau of Investigations. We must report "Any and All information regarding the subject":
I'm assuming that the person in that picture is Sam Fisher.
Edit: Forget that... see Raider's post above

I'm beginning to think this isn't an ARG at all, the ARG fun of it all was getting info from Ubi that had unsecured documents online.
We are basically following a story that gets updated once a week. Which is much too little if you ask me. It's not keeping my interest at all.

I'm still pretty sure it's "Jamie"
On the new message on the site, there's a news report about Sam fisher and Jamie (someone or rather, I put it on the wiki) breaking out of Jail.
That would tie in with the guys talking about Jamie being 'out' (of jail) and that he's brought in another guy (Sam).

New postings on the Bewaresamfisher site Hey everyone,
There are four new postings on the site.
1. A video that shows someone taking pictures of Sam from a roof top.
2. A tape of the conversations between Sam & Jamie (offering Sam a job)
3. The picture of the guy that was taking pictures.
4. A shipping form for a red mercury radiological kit ordered by Civil-Defense.
I don't know what thats for.
If you want my opinion...this isn't gearing up for an ARG.
It's propably just tidbits of the story line to build up hype.
I haven't call the hotline and probably am not going to.

Yeah, too bad nothing here is very cohesive. PM's, if you're reading this, GIVE US A PUZZLE! Cause it just doesn't "feel" like an ARG yet. Read: no immersion.

Red Mercury for those that do not know is thought to be a "Balleotechnic material" (Realy too complex to go into but it has to do with the nature of the nuclear reaction is under goes its like a whole feild of neuclear physics of its own)
The importances of this is that it has properties that would allow the building of a fusion device without the need for a fission device to set it off.....allowing for smaller, more powerful nukes.
There are other theories of what red mercury actualy is such as lithium-6 or just the soviet code name for hafnium-178 (one of the 5 known balleotechnic materials) and a few other things....plus its never actualy been proven to exist
In laymans terms "Red Mercury make go Big Ka-Boom. Bad, Bad Red Mercury, No pie for you"
For more info please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_mercury or contact your local terrorist organisation
