being bitchy ^_^ heh ok so as far as neobitch goes she is or was splinterbitch she built the old splinter site. if you check she has splinternails old defunct lj in her friends list. the most i've gotten out of her about the new site is "It's lovely, isn't it?" i think she's just an old fan as far as things go now. i've been told she was the most devistated of all the fans when splinternails left. thats about as much as i know about her atm.

Six times already spoken, her name that they need.
So it seems we already have everything we need....... Although I still don't know what that is right now. Anyways I can't work on this tonight, hope somebody solves this by the time I get home tomorrow.

okay, six times already spoken ... i'm pretty sure sparkrent's watching our thread, so is it something we've already said six times, sparkrent's already said six times, it's been said six times on the site, something clockstop said ...
the first word i thought was just 'sun', but that came up seven times in the last two pages. guess we're gonna have to start counting words ...
Edit: Just went back to the solitairea, and the source code has changed a little bit. Most of that wierd code is gone, and now there's some more stuff added to the bottom: the most important part is the keyword, "ureanzrngdhguvegrrarqbgpbz", which ROTs out to "hernameatquthirteenedotcom". So at least now we know where we stick the answer to the riddle. Which leaves me wondering if the image is still stegged or not ... guess we'll figure out in due time.

Little help for you guys. Something strange happened last night. I had scanned each of the pictures myself, all showing negative except for regretogether.jpg was coming up false positive. After seeing the post by sparkrent on here I scanned them again. Now my readings are negative for all but proloqu13e.jgp. Its shows jphide (***). Not having done this before it means the (***) is either the password for the info or is the info itself, I dunno. Good luck, seems they changed even though I'm using the same ones that have been on my comp and havent been messed with up to this point

Personally, I'm pretty sure that the "six times" isn't something in our thread at all. I think it's actually something mentioned six times in the actual qu13e or in sparkrent's journal. I looked on the site but no word had been mentioned six times. I'll look at the journal...
EDIT: I counted. Guess how many times we've mentioned "Aki"?
EDIT 2: I just sent mail to akiSPLAT qu13e.com. And it hasn't bounced back! I think we may have done it!
EDIT 3: Just got it back. Damn!

Okay, well I found this neat little online tool that'll count the frequency of each word in a string of text you put in it (LINK ). So i copied and pasted everything from sparkrent's journal, and only five words showed up six times, none of which worked. So if it's just a one-word name that we're looking for, then i don't think it's in sparkrent's journal.
EDIT: used the wordcount page again and typed in the text from the three pictures we have right now on the site, and no word showed up more than five times (except "the", of course). So I'm gonna start sifting through this thread now, 'cause i'm pretty sure that's where we'll find it.

omg this is so frustrating -- i've tried so many words -- i'm losing it
but i love it
i know it sounds incredibly laborious but i'm thinking we may be
looking for a word that's been mentioned over the course of
our game so far (perhaps including pregame) -- so since it is sunday
and chilly out -- i'll start combing -- thanks for the link, vandino

Not that I have other options but:
Is making an E-mailadress the only thing we can come up with? What if Aki is the right answer but turning it into Akisplat anymail.com isn't? There must be a different way to go... somehow.... maybe..

could be..
but the qu13e.com addie's been given to us twice -- so it makes sense that that's what the pm is telling us
but try using it as a password or adding it onto the qu13e.com

I'm not sure if an email addy is the only thing we can do with the name, but it's our only definite solution right now, since the keyword on the last page is "hernameatquthirteenedotcom", or her name @qu13e.com (after you ROT it out)
EDIT: I just tried using hernameSPLAT qu13e.com and her.nameSPLAT qu13e.com, and neither worked (darned hunches!)

okay after exhausting every word i could get my hands on
tada!
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the key is
oboenaiSPLAT qu13e.com
i shot off an email that just said "random?"
and this came just now:
I am Qu13en 9tales, servant of oboenai.
Who are you?
i just wrote back and said:
i am jan the labfly.
i am seeking random martin.
i have something i must tell him.
can you please help me?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
i have no idea how oboenai fits with our riddle other than it says her name "was" the sound of the rising sun.. and so the name is a memory and part of the word means memory--
