Watching the Animatrix I enjoyed all the "visions". I had a hard time digesting "Beyond" at first, but after a while I actually liked it.

Anyway all the visions seem to show some importance to the main Matrix movies. "Final Flight of the Osiris", "The 2nd Rennaisance 1 & 2", "Kid's Story" obviously all have high importance to the plot. Others seem to be extra stories but reflect the Wachowski vision. "Detective Story" has some action with Trinity. "Matriculated" shows a possible solution that instead of annihilating the machines, maybe an alliance should be taken (already happening with the Oracle, if she is in fact a good person). "Program" showed the morality involved if one is to believe in that the real world and freedom is more important to humanity than being slaved by machines just for a brief selfish life of "fake" happiness.

But "Beyond" was a mystery. Probably the most mysterous of all the episodes. Maybe it has a part to play in this ARG. Again all I said was maybe. It's just spec. I can have my theories.

Don't forget that the "Beyond" music is in the intro to the Metacortex mainpage.

It's not really blatant, just very much like Beyond, and then they use the Beyond music elsewhere. "Anderson, Thomas" and Metacortechs is a blatant reference. But other than that, you'd never know this was Matrix-related. Suppose I phrased that poorly.
