 		Alrighty. I sent him an email asking him if he would be willing to help us and asking if he knew anything about splinternails.

EDIT: okay, he's written me back. here's our rather breif convo so far:

 		I opt for him being in-game.

1. The 'coincidence' between oboenai mentioning that we need someone from the earth realm.

2. If he's not in-game, I think your last comment should have raised many questions by him. Especially the "we have accidently released Splinternails from Qu13e" part.

 		Again, wording will play a great part in this interaction. He isnt going to "give" you information, rather make you earn it. Notice how he always finishes asking more about you? For everything you ask, release something about yourself, but be just as stern with him. He has only replied yes, no, and maybe so far. Dont give anything away for free.

If it were me, I would tell him I was told by oboenai that someone from the Earth realm was needed to contact Random, so you thought maybe he was that person, then ask if he is. Remind him you have divulged information, so if he wishes to learn more it is his turn.

Another thing to keep in mind is the comment about be careful who you trust, there is a traitor among you. This also could be him.

I met him through Live Journal three or four years ago. I was one of the first to friend-be friended by him (something I'm still proud to say) - before his friend's list ballooned to over 300. We went out for drinks a few times, nothing much. Then he disappeared, that was 2003? I haven't seen or heard from him since.

I had nothing to do with the splinternails or splinterworld site.

No, I have no idea where he might be. I know where he used to live, and I know he doesn't live there anymore (I've checked many times). But about about two months ago "splinternails isn't dead" and then www.qu13e.com graffiti started appearing in Harajuku (where he used to live). Suspecting it was him, I placed an ad in Metropolis (he used to read/send messages via Metropolis all the time). I still haven't heard anything.

I have a few theories about what may be going on, but this e-mail is already long enough.

Oh yeah, no, my name's not "boushou" - it's one of Random's jokes (for lack of a better word). "kenboushou" means "amnesia" in Japanese. "Amnesia. Remember me?" It's the only way I could think of to get his attention.

i love that there seems to be an actual person in the world
called random martin -- and the qu13e.com graffiti is interesting
i'd love to know what ken's theories are.

edit: since ken said random likes to use these ads-- should we
create an ad and let random know about splinternails escape?

 		Greetings all, I just checked out some of the ingame links and read every post in this topic so far. This game looks like it will be a good one and im already addicted. I tried emailing oboenai and haven't gotten anything back yet. I guess we're just playing the waiting game for now since from the posted emails it seems something will happen on the 13th. (With regards to waiting for labfly to get emails)

 		Yeah, maybe making an ad of our own wouldn't be such a bad idea. I invited Ken to come join us in the forums, maybe he could help us out some. Has anyone tried to desteg that picture any further? I tried for a while, but then gave it up as hopeless. Thinking about going back to it, but I can't for the life of me come up with any more pretty likely passwords.
