[5 PUZZLES, 2 UNSOLVED][NEW] Agent 90426 Directory

Yes, four puzzles. Edit: make that five - see this post later in the thread.

There are three pages: video.html, data.html, and cats.html.

On video.html, there is a transcript as well as a link to another mp3.

On cats.html, there is a product description, plus the following puzzle in the source, which, for purposes of the thread, we shall call puzzle A:
Quote:

And on data.html, there is some, erm, text, links to two mp3s, and three puzzles:

Puzzle B (solved below):

Puzzle B's solution is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
simple hex
and is solved as follows:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
how do you fix a leak? i wish that i had more time.

Owhay areway ethay irekeepersfay? Amnday emthay! Amnday ethay

For those of you who can't get the last few sentences, they are encrypted in the highly secure form of
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
pig latin, and read "Who are the firekeepers? Damn them! Damn the company".

Also found: there is a bold word on cats.html - LEAK. Does leak.html work? Sure does! And it even has a little cipher on it!
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Kjzbs nf jv hye ut xgxz tcqukde. Obxr bcyv iyvzfcu sdfypljrzk obuv bu umgj!

and

omyx exrz

The solution? Well, the first one remains unsolved, but the second...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
omyx exrz is ROT-6 and ROT-11, respectively, for "used pick"

Thanks to ouroboros for his help!

Note the (XRV) behind the agents code number on cats.
Cross reference it with the list of international call signs.
Seems like our man is from Chile. Yet another department. But there's no page that I can find.

braille puzzle

Hi there,

I did a search and didn't find any previous mention of this simple puzzle.

if you truncate the url for the agent's cat page to simply:

http://vaporlofts.com/agent90426/

you are presented with an image of Braille text.

It's a simple translation, I hid it just in case there's anyone else like myself who's not up to the other ciphers but wants to participate. For others who don't want to waste time on an easy one, it translates to:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
HOW DO YOU FIG? A LEAK

I am sure that this is a pointless solve, but it made me feel good just to find it. I had given up on this game, slow moving, and I had no chance of solving any of the ciphers.

This was a later addition to the Agent directory. It was mentioned in the December 13th update here. The answer is supposed to take you to http://vaporlofts.com/agent90426/leak.html which we had already gotten (so I'm not quite sure why the 2nd hint to it).

Because we missed something. Wink
It's the new page coming up in the same thread you refered to, but it never says how it was found.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

There is "moretime" written in white which you can see in the source of the "How to fix a leak" page.

This is why I shouldn't be so behind on the guide. I actually saw that fairly quickly, but as I'm like a week behind it still had already been found.

I am catching up tho!
