Seth's email seems to be down. I will keep trying it at intervals and let you all know when I get through.

There's still something I'm not sure of. What was Seth originally investigating? He came to the station BEFORE Steven went missing, indeed Steven requested he come. Stevie described him as "uncle Seth", but mentioned that he "didn't look much like daddy".
So what was the original investigation?

We don't know what the original investigation was. The only thing we know is this . Seth must have been coming to help with that but Steven turned up missing instead.
Edited for clarity.

To me, it sounds like Seth was investigating Orbicon for a while even before he arrived on the station. Steven sent him the secret message saying
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
SETH: WE SHOULD TALK, HAVE EVIDENCE - STEVE
This leads me to think that either Steven's disappearance is part of the investigation or that someone found out that Steve was sending info to Seth and "took care" of him. [\my $.02]

He fixed his email sometime late last night, by the way. I sent an email and it finally went through.

In one E-Mail interaction from Stevie I got this quote:
Quote:
Uncle Seth isn't my real Uncle, just someone my Daddy knows, but not from work.

I believe that Seth is investigating whatever he came for in the first place. The disappearance of Steven is intentional and Seth is in the know. So you could say the missing person case is just an excuse for Seth to go snooping around. Although that doesn't explain why Seth came on board the station and the guys from Orbicon would certainly wonder about that as well.

Or, he may be there to start his new job. The letter he's carrying around opens with a congratulatory note.
Of course that's pure speculation.

No, I don't think so. I think he may have been on this job for a while, which is why Stevie has seen enough of him to call him Uncle Seth.
Of course, he could have been a friend of Steven's before Steven hired him to do.. whatever he hired him to look into.

I received this email from Seth:
Quote:
I'm not sure what message you're referring to. You're saying that there was a message that led you to my website? What did this message say exactly? Who sent you this message? As for my cases, I cannot divulge any details due to the confidential nature of the investigations.
Seth Adams
reckon he's playing dumb, or do you think somebody else is behind the message?

Thunderwolf, could you post what your email to Seth contained?
Quote:

Damage control. Either we:
A) leave Seth alone for a while, let it blow over (unlikely IMO)
B) email Seth back saying something to quell his fears (likely impossible IMO)
C) email him saying that we are friends of the Mae family and will not compromise his investigation, we are just worried about Steven
My vote is for C. Perhaps we can get him to divulge what he is investigating, or at least whether Steven's disappearance was planned. We could even get tough about it saying that we also decoded Steven's message to Seth and will go public with it unless he let's us know what's up with Steven.

I think it might be a Bad Idea to let on that we have a "mole" in Raidar. If we can't spy on him, who knows what might happen? I'm not saying we shouldn't try to quell Seth's fears, but maybe we should do it through Davina or Stevie instead.
