My original decoding had some errors. Caspian_x managed to decipher the end result despite this. The corrected Gibberish result is a few posts down.

 		SOLVED, with many thanks to mapmaker for bringing me to the goal line and letting me get the touchdown.

It is based on the Gibberish Key, with some slight variations:
  • Cipher --> Plaintext
  • = --> s
  • + --> l
  • E --> (b or c) depending on the word
  • % --> Q
  • . --> v
  • r --> t (only in two cases, both in the word "the")
  • ) --> j (instead of y) Only 1 case, probably a typo.
After applying the Gibberish Key and then the variations, we get:
