 		They banned me for 152 years!!!! And the best part is they ask me to participate in teh forums after the ban has elapsed.... Do they think anyone will live that long, and if they do that they will still care about teh xbox forums?

 		I am trying to get ahold of a mod I know to check into this rediculous ban.

He was banned for 152 years from the forums for "spam", but he had never spammed the forums. This leads us to believe that he was banned for the post regarding llamma.com. I would also like to mention that Major Nelson even posted a blog entry about this site and one of their cool looking case-mods. ( http://www.majornelson.com/2005/11/29/xbox-360-case-mod/ ). This is how we all found the site to begin with.

Is there any way you could possibly see into why he was punished so severely? He's really distraught right now that he got a 152-year-ban for linking to this site. He is not the first person to bring it up on these forums, espescially after many of us were pointed to it by Major Nelson himself.

This thread he made has since been totally deleted (at least to us). I understand why, and that this was the right decision to erase the thread. But banning him for over a century instead of PMing him to warn him of future links like that is scary.

He didn't mean any harm, he agrees with having the thread locked/erased, but none of us understand the logic behind this horrifically long ban.



I don't know what all power you hold as one of the MVPs, but if there is anything you could do/look into for us, we would be very thankful indeed.

And if there was a totally different reason for this ban, please let us know.

incit read the full quote not the little bit you cut out. It makes sence. Any way it was worth it jsut to laugh about it. I'm an anti microsoft kinda person anyway.
O and incit there is a age requirement... you have to be 18 to use the forums.

 		Hey Fugitive I was thinking about my live accout being banned from the xbox forums, and maybe it will be better for me to get a new acc and then link my .net passport and get a fresh start.

I like my name so if I would do it my new name would be like 'VMVash ' or somthing like that. If any one has any Gamer Tag sugestions I'm up for them.

I would keep VMVash in some way but not add silly X's and I's around it; it looks ok on CS but not on Live.

Maybe VMVash Reloaded or VMVash Evovled?

 		I like the 'VMVash v2' but not the reloaded.. too easy to eather connect that with the matrix (over done way too much), but if ppl didn't think of that first I would do it. What I wont do is somthing that has anything to do with halo or any game that was/is/will be on a xbox/360. Way too many ppl have MC, 117, or Spartan in their names. They look like noobs or cheaters when they play other games.

I also like the 'VMVash Evolved'. Those were good ones (thats alot coming from me when it comes to names) If there are good orignal names that have nothing to do with 'VMVash' I am willing to look at those too I want as many sugestions as I can get from everybody (cept dante... Laughing he had a cool name then droped it for 'the poet'...thats just not my style, Wink )
