Here.

Giving a brief shoutout to Caspian_x, turns out she's headed to Atlanta with Mister Happypants Paris.

Interesting to note: Her sister is absent, and Shinpu's strange ramblings has made her lose trust in him. Even though he's the only one telling her to make her own choices here.

Anyway, she turned off comments for this post, so I'm going to e-mail her about going to Atlanta with Parrish. 'Cause I'm so not liking that guy, I have to bash him at every opportunity Smile

 		Well, that's it then. She'll be a pincushion for demons by this time next week. We tried. God knows I laid out every freaking reason she should not go to Atlanta with Parrish. It's like the old saying goes, "You can only go so far to prevent someone from making themselves a test subject for supernatural experiments and a vessel for bodily possession by mass quantities of spirits of the dead." Or something like that.

Let's see where this goes... or if we ever hear from Anne again. Frankly, I wish the girl well. I hope things turn out well for her. But I have a feeling that will not be the case.

 		I think we'll hear back from her. I think there's too much of this whole storyline with the secondary characters and her to just totally disappear. We still don't know what she really knows about Meghin/Sarah, nor how Shinpu falls in with the whole deal. This is my first ARG, so there are probably ways around her giving us the info, but I couldn't see a way of us getting Jenna's blog, for instance, that wouldn't be stupidly glaringly dumb outside of her letting us in.

That being said, maybe she'll go through the Gateway and extract something and be a changed Annie.

Anyhoo...

Not my best piece of writing, but here's what I just sent her:

You're right not to trust people. Heck, being one of the guys who has been working with Caspian (you might have guessed?), I can assure you that all the stuff we've been finding has been insanely weird, and I wouldn't blame you for looking at us like a bunch of crackpots. We've been finding quotes from Archimedes, Francis Bacon, Chinese mythology. There's all this ciphering that I don't understand, weird music, that kind of stuff. I can understand how Shinpu makes you uneasy. He sounds very strange. But yet, very zen. I don't know if he's to be trusted, either, but I think he should be heard. That's only my advice, but I say so because of any of these factions that seem to be pulling at you (myself included), he's the only one telling you to make your own decisions. He doesn't sound dishonest, just evasive, so maybe a direct question (like "Are you a firekeeper?" If you understand the reference - I don't know how much any of us have told you) would be in order?

Also, I think you should go to Atlanta, do some research, figure this stuff out for yourself. From everything that we've figured out, you or your sister (or heck, your grandmother?) seem to play some strange pivotal role in this company. Considering you've been dealing with this for the past six months, I think you're right to head out there and investigate. Maybe your being fired has taken the attention off of you - in which case I hope you hear from your sister. She doesn't have a LiveJournal for us to stalk too, does she? Razz

But... why, oh WHY are you going to Atlanta with Parrish? That guy is just bad freaking news. Even outside of all this, the guy just creeps me the heck out. I mean, you've expressed in no uncertain terms that you wanted him to go away, and he always came back to pester you. Even if we're totally wrong and he isn't an agent for Vapor (which he absolutely is, believe us or not), the guy's crush on you goes well beyond normal. Also, he's the biggest poser alive. Ever notice that his LiveJournal account says that "his" yacht is moored at one of his PARENTS' houses? Yeah, trust fund baby, you know it's true. And while he's trying to get into your gitch, he's probably got some hot French chick named Claudia or something in some exotic country whining because she has to tell her boyfriend about Frankie's wonderful lovely ways.

In the end, don't trust any of us if you don't feel you should. Don't trust Vapor, Paris, Shinpu, Moses, Caspian, myself, anybody that in any way makes you think you shouldn't. Trust yourself. Your instincts. Your gut feelings. You're a sharp gal, and I think you know how to stay safe.

And one more thing: keep us updated while you're gone. You didn't mention how long you will be in Georgia for, so hopefully you can make it online. You have a paid LJ account, I noticed - did you know you can phone entries in on your cell? (http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=183) They post as a single audio file that people can download and listen to! That would be nifty for us in the Collective Movement Towards Good to get! (I like that as a catch-all term, but maybe I should come up with something more in tune with the situation - the "Icebreakers" or something? Meh, it's not like we're organized)

 		Brand-new to this -- got here through the same RPG as Ghostmeta, I believe. My friends are getting a bit tired of my constant Vaporlofts-related babbling, so here I am.

I also think she'll be back -- but something big will happen. Can't say I blame her for not entirely trusting people on the 'net.

The intrigue is so much fun. Very Happy 'Icebreakers' sounds good.

I . . . wouldn't suggest you do that with parrish - or at least if you do, be a bit more circumspect. Something tells me it would be easier to be straightforward and honest with Shinpu than Parrish. Maybe it's because Paris never worked an honest job in his life, from what I can see.)

It seems to me that if we want more, we have to have more information - more contacts, maybe - so I'm trying that angle out. I hope I get something at least.

And - hi, Weatherly! Nice to see I'm not the only one.

Oh, and that's another vote for "Icebreakers" from me, too.

I also sent a Text Message to our mysterious rogue agent at VaporLofts, but my mumble mumble phone didn't save it. It was something to the effect that Anne was heading to Altanta to meet with Parrish. Ended it with "Can you intervene? Advise?". Since my phone didn't save it, not 100% sure it sent.

A warm welcome to our new friends. Keep in mind that I am not the one who discovered most of what we have as evidence. I'm merely the one who's been the most vocal about it to Anne. I can't take credit for all the great puzzle solving that's been going on here.
