Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Take asteroid, rot 7 and you get: hzalyvpk
Mail to hzalyvpkSPLATmaefamily.info

And I got:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
On July 04, 1975, the rocket sped off to its meeting with the asteroid. It wasn't until mid-1976 that the rocket reached its destination and made contact.
NASA waited and watched hoping that the micro robots would go online and start communicating. Soon after, Bronco announced that the micro robots had gone online, but he could not discern much detail from their messages. He claimed that their communication modules were most likely damaged in the impact. He explains that the robots are digging as they were programmed to do, but that they won't be able to communicate in any way with the micro robots. All NASA could do was wait, watch and cross their fingers some more.

Thanks,

Steven

The aerial could be disneyland

I didn't find the exact same picture on google. But it looks pretty much like it.

for example :

The aerial view looks like a theme park to me.
The picture looks like it might be to do with the Day of Judgement or exit from the Garden of Eden.

Just me thinking aloud Smile

indeed it is disneyland! but in Japan

if youve got Google Earth you can go there here:
http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/download.php?Number=4056

or online on google maps

Quote:
Tokyo Disneyland is one of two theme parks in the Tokyo Disney Resort located in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, near Tokyo. It was the first Disney park to be built outside of the United States and was opened on April 15, 1983. It also was (and is) the first Disney park to not be owned by The Walt Disney Company.

There are seven themed areas, each complimenting each other yet unique in their style. Made up of the World Bazaar, the four classic Disney lands: Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, and two mini lands, Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown, the park is noted for its huge open spaces to accommodate the massive crowds the park receives on even moderate attendance days - Tokyo Disneyland is the single most visited theme park in the world, and its sister Tokyo DisneySea is the second.
from here

(tokyo disney sea is the watery bit bottom left)

I've gotta say, from the bottom of my heart, that's one unbelieveably retarded solve of the Special Olympics variety.

Good job.

And the 3D molecule is not DNA, DNA is in the form of a double helix.

This is a protein in it's 3D conforrmation. But I can't guess which protein it is.[/u]

Wow, Johns Hopkins was good for something after all.

Image 6 (I think that's the one - the one with the circle and equation) is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Euler's Formula regarding complex number analysis.

Edit: In fact, I just found the picture:

A few more things before I hop off to work:

1) That one painting looks like a Dali, but don't quote me on it - I can't find it in a brief online search.

2) That shot of an "amusement park" is from Google Earth - use that to verify any answer you attempt.

2b) It may not be an amusement park - try space-related things too, particularly those that would be on the water (Cape Canaveral?)

3) Ask Scrappydoo about that protein.

Here are the lyrics to the song playing:

Quote:

Backwater Blues Version 2
soundclip

by Bessie Smith
recording of 19
from The Complete Recordings, Vol. 3 (Columbia/Legacy C2K-47474),
copyright notice

When it rained five days and the skies turned dark as night
When it rained five days and the skies turned dark as night
There was trouble taking place in the lowlands at night

I woke up this morning, wouldn't even get out of my door
I woke up this morning, wouldn't even get out of my door
Enough trouble to make poor girl wonder where she gonna go

They rowed a little boat, about five miles 'cross the farm
They rowed a little boat, about five miles 'cross the farm
I packed up all my clothing, throwed it in and they rowed me along

It thundered and it lightened and the winds began to blow
It thundered and it lightened and the winds began to blow
There was a thousand women, didn't have no place to go

I went out to the lonesome, high old lonesome hill
I went out to the lonesome, high old lonesome hill
I looked won on the old house, where I used to live

Backwater1 blues have caused me to pack up my things and go
Backwater blues have caused me to pack up my things and go
'Cause my house fell down and I can't live there no more

Hmm, I can't live there no more
Hmm, I can't live there no more
And there ain't no place for a poor old girl to go

__________
Note: This was one of her most successful records; it was recorded just before the catastrophic great Mississippi flood of 1927;
Note 1: backwater, mostly old river beds which are left to take the excess flood water to relieve pressure on the levees (embankments). As the height of the water is excessive, however, breaches in the levee walls are deliberately made at certain points to allow particular areas to flood and thus lessen the pressure of water. These are the "backwaters," which occur in the St. Francis Basin to the west of the river between Memphis and Helena, in the great Yazoo-Mississippi Delta north of Vicksburg, in the Tensas Basin west of Natchez, and at other selected points.

Italics are mine to note which lyrics are actually used on bigwin.html.
