Just to clarify for those who came in late - this website is the result of a mispelling in the Online version of a USA Today ad in the pre-game (back in February - that's scary!). Someone bought the domain after the ad was found to redirect people mistakenly visiting it to the correct PerplexCity.com site. It was heavily analysed in this thread, and there's also a wiki page about it.

Please remember to Search before posting something you've found by just browsing - it will prevent you from being trouted in the future.

I noticed just now. http://www.perlplexcity.com/ has expired and is now being squatted.

I .. uh .. wish good luck to the obviously brilliant marketing ploy of a company who wishes to squat on a site which was a typo to begin with Rolling Eyes

At the time duckie posted that, she'd only been registered on unfiction for 6 days, so she had every right to be scared of Juxta and his n00b cannon! Laughing
