I'll be the first to speculate. I think the game seems as odd as it does and we, the players, seem to be getting ever so frustrated at being stuck at times. Stepping away and doing some thinking tonight led me to a realization. We actually have ourselves to blame for "game stalls". If you look at our threads and posting habits, I dont see one post about our current puzzle. From any perspective other than our own, it seems like we are sitting around waiting for the movie to start, not putting our brains through the ringer trying to figure this stuff out. I know for a fact everyone has, and is, still confused, perplexed, digging, thinking, researching, doing everything in our power to figure it out, but only we know it. I think we have to start being more "vocal" with our finds, failed attempts, concepts, and everything across the board. I'm going to start a puzzle thread for this specific puzzle until we get it solved and I'm hoping we can continue to make posts and not just assume others can read our minds.
Having said all that, I am right in the middle of what I spoke about. I was speaking to myself as much (if not more b/c I know better) as anyone else, so please dont take it personally.

Just a quick "I agree with Glecius" response.
If we're going to solve this, we need to work better together.
The fact Randomeis stated that Random Martin was a mathmatician says to me the puzzles are just going to get harder. Wait a minute. "Randomeis" and "Random"?
Am I being too paranoid?

Yes you are being paranoid. Randomeis is one of the players from the very beginning, not the same person.
OT - Just b/c youre paranoid doesnt mean they arent after you.

Seeing as how we may get to meet the keeper of things soon if glecius' request to the soulcellar pans out, I think it's time we think a little bit about what we were told earlier by qu13en - that when we contact the keeper, we need to give him Clockstop's message - and something that he doesn't have.
I've thought of this two ways so far. First, since he is the keeper of things , then maybe we ought to give him nothing , since that's probably something that he doesn't have. not sure how that would work out exactly, but just an idea. My other thought was that if we think of things as being physical objects, then maybe we ought to give him an idea, or something non-physical.
Of course, the wording of the message itself is a little strange, because it kind of implies that the keeper already knows of clockstop's message ... "give him clockstop's message - and something that he doesn't have "

i'm thinking the currency here is souls-- (just my spec)
perhaps we should figure out which souls we will hand over
to this band of ghouls.. i believe glecius has already
handed over his via sparkrent
and once again-- let's not all hand over our souls,
one at a time.. we must hold as many as possible because
i believe we will need to trade in more as we go
(again just my spec)
edit: okay now that i've caught up on the game (work has kept me
away) i see we even have a thread for the "soul" trade.

I agree 100% labfly, which was why I rushed to try and hold off the spamination when we made contact last night. We discussed that we needed one person to do it in order to figure out the process for further development and I got nominated (I offered to let others go first if they wished, as I want everyone to enjoy the experience). The passing of souls should be based upon necessity for information and/or cost of entry for certain things.

I have a small spec which could be way off the mark...
Random Martin in his last note said, "I think I used to be someone else". Once, sparkrent said, "I used to be like you."
Could Random Martin and Sparkrent be the same person?

ya know, Ekplixi, i think you've got something there... hmmm.
if anyone has a coversation with Sparkrent anytime soon
perhaps we could ask Sparkrent if he has any memory
of who is was.. say two years ago-- (i think that's when Random
went missing)
interesting spec, Ekplixi.

yes just call me RandomNOTINGAMEeis for the rest of the game heh.
as far as spec goes i've still got a feeling this is connected to the release of some J-Horor movie release... but who knows!

i stumbled onto this:
(this may have nothing to do with our game but it may..) so don't look
if you really don't want to know:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"Based on the Japanese horror movie "Kairo," "Pulse" centers on a group of college students who discover that a computer hacker friend of theirs unwittingly pirated a strange wireless signal that opened a doorway for a terrifying evil to cross over into the world. As it spreads, everyone in its path is consumed, and the students must race to find a way to stop it."
is that the film you were thinking about, randomeis? ... "Pulse" is coming out from "dimensions films" sometime this spring and i found a wesite/directory
for it here:
